We both have University degrees and are both in Management positions at our offices, however, the husband makes about 10K more annually...and I think this is due to the pay inequity of females vs. males....

Yes. I am the only member in my household. I have owned my own house and lived on my own since I was 23. I anticipate being the breadwinner after marriage as well.

I do not make more than my husband but I have in the past. I do however take care of everything and I do mean EVERYTHING around the house, raise the kids, run and take care of the bills, banking, packages, business...etc...so I guess it really depends on how you look at it.
He at this time makes more money than I do.
Don't let any man let you feel like you are less than him because he works and you don't. Let him stay home and do what you do for a month....he cann't. As stay at home moms, we work harder than most moms who go to an office every day. I know..I have just returned to work after 2 years of being able to stay home.

No I am a stay-at-home mom. I raise five kids and deal with all of the household issues. My hubby works a swing shift and I have health problems so it is virtually impossible for me to work. I do wish I had a job though because sometimes he makes me feel bad like I am not pulling my weight...

nope - I used to earn more than my fiancee - but I now have 1 child and 1 on the way so now am a stay at home mum which was my choice and I love it.
would be nice to have extra income - but kids aren't young forever so i'd rather have a life with them and then go to work for extra luxuries

Yes, and I don't get child support either!
And I don't want it. If I pushed for child support, he might push for visitation rights. My child is better off not visiting him. I can support my child just fine with the Lord. And God has always made a way and with extras too!
Has it always been easy? No, but worth it!
