She should. But if it were me, I'd insist on paying rather than her.

Unless you agree beforehand to go dutch (both pay their own share), the person doing the asking is the one who has the responsibility to pay. So, be prepared to pay. (After all, how would you feel if someone invited you to their house, and then expected you to cook? Same principle.)

(Now, there are a few guys who feel uncomfortable having a girl pay their way, so your date MAY offer to pay, but don't count on it, and be as graceful as you can in determining who is going to end up doing the paying.)

My goodness, there sure are a lot of gold-diggers on this thread!!!

Depends on the guy,the girl, the date and what you both expect. Expect to pay but also expect him to also. If he's a good guy and has the cash, then do it. If he "expects" you to support him and is using you for your money and anything else he can get from you, that's a different story. Just be smart.

You should be prepared to pay and when the bill comes, go forth paying. If he's a gentleman, he will take the bill from you and pay it. It also depends on what you end up doing. Some dates are easy to go dutch on (you each pay your own way). Either way, be prepared to pay and if you asked the right guy out, then you won't end up having to. :)

it depends on the culture... generally doesn't matter who asks out, if the other person accepts she/he should take half responsibility over the bill...
I'm sure the guy you invited is expecting that... however, just in case... be prepare for surprises... so take him to a cheap place to proof him out... :o)

Well , I think you should be prepared to pay but most decent men won't allow it. It's an ego thing!
