so i went on this cruise, and met this guy. he was really nice and we hung out a lot, but i never really had an interest in him, until the 4th night. that night we just hung out me and him the entire night laying down and talking. he was really sweet, and i knew that i'd prob start liking him. we were talking about everything, and the topic of me being a virgin came up. i told him i was a virgin, and he didn't believe me. he wasn't a virgin, but he told me i should really wait for someone i like, and then he said "and it's not going to be me." by the end of the night we ended up making out, and he slept over my room, and he even asked me if the next night we were gonna hang out. the next night he was in the casino, so my friend went to go get him from the casino to hang out. sure enough, he wanted to and came within 10 minutes(meanwhile he had been winning a lot of money), and he came to hang out. we went to his room, and we were hooking up and everything led to sex happening naturally, he didn't ask me flat out, and it happened the way i wanted it to, in the moment. when he was putting the condom on however, i asked him what he was doing, and he said "nothing"..i made sure he had a condom on, and he was really gentle, but he didn't talk much. at one point i asked him if he still had the condom on, and he let me feel to make sure it was still on. after we had sex, we went to the casino, and then i left to go to my room to lay down. he said he'd come back to hang out, but i didn't expect him to really. sure enough, he came knocking on my door to spend the night. the next night he had been looking for me, and he thought i was with another guy,so he got upset, and didn't hang out with me for two nights. by the 8th night we met up eventually..and i explained to him that i wasn't with another guy, and we ended up hanging out the whole entire night, me, my friend, and him. he kept saying how i was his girlfriend on the cruise, and that i would be his girlfriend if we lived in the same place. it just so happened i was going to college where he lived in about a year, and he knew that. that night we were hooking up again, and everything led to sex, and this time was even better. he said to me "you said you were a virgin right"..so i said "you remember what happened the other night right?"..and he was like "yeah, we had sex"..so i guess he was asking to be reassured that i was a virgin before him? then we were doing it for a long time, and he was talking a lot more, and physically helping me out, and he constantly asked me if i was alright, and that i need to tell him when to stop or when it hurts. i was in a lot of pain, so he suggested taking the condom off to see if it felt any better, it felt a lot better and it was only for 2 seconds, but he did say to me "the only thing is..if we take the condom off you might have to give me head"..well..i didn't end up giving him head, because i didn't want to. that night he slept over again, and we had plans to hang out the whole entire day the next day. the last night, we hung out the whole night..and then he kissed me on the lips goodbye. we exchanged myspaces and aim screen names, and after the cruise he commented me right away. we had talked back and forth for awhile..and at one point i thought he was avoiding me..so i wrote him a letter saying if you don't write back then i know you don't want anything to do with me, but he did write back, so that showed me that he cared. i ended up surprising him and visiting him one day, and he was really happy to see me. he told me i need to call next time so we can hang out..and he wanted to make sure i was definitely still coming to college near him. we talked for awhile, and then i had to leave..so he kissed me on the lips goodbye, and wrote to me about a week later asking me how my trip was, and telling me to call him next time.

1.does it sound like he liked me a lot?
2.why would he ask me if i was a virgin when he knew i was already?
3.why did i need to give head if he didn't have a condom on?
4. why did he come back after sex the first time to come lay with me?

My friend got married 2 months before me. I went to all her bridal events, shower and attended her wedding and reception which was 5 hours long. I even went over to her house to help make wedding favors for the reception.

My friend was upset that she would have to miss her church service to go to my wedding since we had it on a Sunday! Then she tried to flake on my shower because her friends were having a party that night and she didn’t want to miss it. She ends up showing up in a bad mood to my shower, gives me unwrapped shower gel and leaves before everyone else and says, “Nice party” all sarcastically. Then she goes to my wedding and leaves after being there an hour!

We have been friends of 10 years and since this happened I have been distancing myself from my friend and I only talk to her on email now.

Do I have a right to be upset and push my friend away? My friend “doesn’t understand” even after I explained it to her.

I am a single mother, I am 22. I am lonley without a decent man. I have a great job BUT alot of crap has been happening to me latley letme explain simply.... 475 a month rent, 95 bucks a week for daycare, in the past week I have lost my car keys, my drivers liscence, and my cashed paycheck (about 600 bucks). I have been having problems with my babby daddy wanting to get back with me AND my daughter is in the terrible twos terribly bad. My babby daddy came in the house last nite with a Playstation 3 and my babies daycare hasnt been paid in 3 weeks b/c I absolutley do not have any money, and he doesnt see why it upsets me. Then to top it off I got up this morning, it is cold and rainy and I fall down the front steps of my house and get in my car that has a dead battery making me two hours late to work. I feel like God is angry with me or like the worst mother alive because I am soooooo broke. I dont go out and blow my money on ANYTHING. Please help me, I am SO SAD.

I dated this guy for four and a half years, we were engaged for one of them. I broke up with him in december, and just recently found out he has sexually assaulted my younger sister on more than one occasion while we were together.... What should I do?

I have an Uncle that says mean and hateful things when he is drunk. He makes rude comments about my weight, my friends, other family members. For example, last night he came over to my house after he had been drinking and in not so many words told me that I needed to loose weight. Yeah I probably need to but you just don't say stuff like that to someone. I am not sure if he remembers what he says or not. What do you think? How should I handle this?

Im a catholic and Im mexican and my husband is agnostic and he's white. We're already married, but we have been talking about having a religious wedding. He would like a Catholic wedding in Guadalajara, Mexico, where my family is from.

My questions is that If he has no preference over any religion what would be needed in order to do the ceremony? My mom has told me that we both need to be baptized, have our first communion done, a confirmation, and attend meetings at church weeks before getting married. Is this true?

I already have the baptizm and the first communion done, I just need the confirmation. My husband in the other hand doesnt have this, would he need to get it done?

Im so confused about everything it makes me not even want a religious marriage.

I have serious mood swing issues. I fight with my boyfriend every day because the littlest things he does pisses me off! To name some examples, I get mad if he doesn't call me when he's supposed to (even if he's off by like 2 minutes), I get angry if he doesn't send/buy me flowers at least once a month... just stupid stuff!! I sreiously flip on him all the time, and he usually takes it because he says he loves me and accepts me for who i am, but i want to change for him. what is wrong with me? is anyone else like this?

Im friends with these two girls and closer to one than the other but I hang with both and at times we all hang together with other people. the one hates the other for no real reason and the one Im closer to doesnt know why she is hated they use to be friends. Have you ever attempted to adopt a child outside of your own race? Were you encouraged to do it or encouraged to find a child that would "best fit in " your own environment? Did you end up adopting the child of your choice or one they chose for you?

(This is for same country adoptions- such as a white couple adopting a Hispanic Child or African American family adopting a white child)

I just came from a seminar and an adoption agency said that they encouraged families to adopt within their own race- "for the good of the child".

What is your experience and how did you deal with it?
