I'll be going to a new school next year as a junior and I', afraid I wont find my type of people to hang out with. What is the best thing to do?

Keep in touch with your previous friends(e-mail,letters,meetings).
Organise a big party(food, music, dance) invite all new schoolmates and segregate some of them who you believe their suitable for you. Don't look desperate, be confident, helpful and amusing everybody will accept you and soon you will find intimate friends.I have experienced that situation too, i made efforts,i made mistakes, i have hurt myself. However now i have find the best friend in the world!, i feel happy with her and i have been fullly integrated in the classroom!! Good luck! I'm sure you will get through it !!!!! Be strong!!

I recently changed from high school to a college with few people I knew there. I suggest you act cool, calm and collected. You will probably find there are people out there like you or you might find out that you are changing and the "other" folks might become your best friends. Best of Luck!
