I just graduated from college. I work a M-F 9-6 job. The thing is, on the weekends I'm not much of a partier. I figure the best way to meet girls is being more social in general, but when I hang out with friends, they seem mostly interested in getting drunk and wasted, which really isnt my thing. Is the fact that I'm not really a drinker, etc a hinderance to me? I'm 6-3 tall with and athletic body, should that help?

I dated a guy for 6 months after we had met by means of a casual hookup. We ended up really liking each other and started becoming friends and eventually boyfriend and girlfriend. He's older than me and kept back the fact that he was divorced and had kids. I eventually found out and also found out that he had been seeing other people. I also moved away from the city where we had both lived, but somehow we ended up staying in contact. After having lunch with him the last time I was there we both realized we have chemistry and an amazing bond. He was monogamous with his first wife (I met her, asked her point blank) and I feel he has worked hard to reprove himself. Do I try to work things out with him? What do I need from him?

.......he says he needs a friend not a relationship. I'm very understanding of this but should I stand my ground and eventhough we're apart should I be the greatest friend in hopes he'll see how devoted I am to him? There's a saying that goes "Behind every great man there is a great woman and that woman stands by her lover and protector no matter what". Okay, so let's put aside all the rational thought that society has put into our heads. The ideal life for a guy is probably to have sex all the time, and when they are tired of it, they like fun and competition that stimluates them... such as maybe sports? games? iono. That was confusing.But anyways,I've liked this guy for close to 3 years,and I've never been able to get over him no matter how many times I've tried.And I held on to him for well over two years without us speaking a single word to each other.Well finally,he talked to me,and he was flirting with me,which is odd since we never talked before.Well I think I was trying to move on when he started talking to me,which I think is odd cuz of all the times he couldve talked to me and he chooses the time I'm most able to fall into his trap again.Well my question is,does anyone else think that God has something in plan for us?I really believe that,but I want some outsiders opinions.

long distance relationships are hard.................
My boyfriend and I started dating earlier this year as we soon made our move to the EastCoast here in the US. However, he did warn me that after his contract project was over chances were he was gonna go somewhere else. Nonetheless, sparks flew, things happened and we got close. We both love each other very much and just about a month ago he moved away. He's very ambitious and wants to succeed in his profession as much as he can to maybe someday open up his own business. I, on the other hand, an still a college student and there's not a lot I can offer for the relationship except being strong and accept what must happen in order to achieve our goals. Unfortunately, we ended breaking up but lately I feel like he's been pushing me away purposely to toughen me up and not miss him as much. A few times he's mentioned that what we had was something and that it will always be there. He says he loves me but at the time he needs a friend..

Married for over two years and when I came home the other day from work and my wife confronted me and said that our close friends will give me a call that my wife is having an affair at the moment with a person who is living in our house. Though my wife had a two year affair before we got married I trust her and the person in the house I can't immagine he would even do anything like that. Our friends explained all the information came from my wife as being they trusted each other. The issue seems confusing as I trust my wife but the only way I could explain if my wife has a double standard life or our friends have fallen out.

My 16 1/2 yr old daughter wants to go with her best friend who is 18 + to help emotionaly support her with her abortion. I dont feel that she should go with her to the clinic for the actual procedure. I've told her if she would like that after her appointment her friend could come here to rest for the night so she could support her afterwards. My main concern is that she not be apart of the actul choice. her friend comes from a very strict family and she has chosen not to inform her parents because she knows they will not support her choice. I just dont want my daughter to be apart of what could be something very upsetting to this girls family if they do find out. What are your thoughts????

Please help. He is my boyfriend for the past 2 years. We make a great pair but the problem is that I am always calling him and always acting desperate. And, he has started taking advantage of me. If I call, he hangs up and if I start crying he gets angry and yells at me. Two days back we had one of our petty fights. He switched off his phone for the whole night. I was so upset. But from yesterday I avoided his calls and never answered. Now he stopped calling me. I am worried. Do I wait for him to call or do I just call him back. You see, he is 39 yrs old. He always controls me and bosses over me. If I do not call him, will he call me back? I love him a lot and he knows that I do. But, for the few times we are going around, I am managing to control myself and not call him. But every minute, I feel so hurt and want to just dial his number and make up. I am so happy with him in spite of petty fights. I always gave him importance more than myself. What must I do now? Please give some tips!

i can't stand the person i live with . he is my ex of 5 years and was abusive and controlling when we were going out . we finally broke up a few weeks ago , but he is still a total a$$hole . i'm at home by myself half the time but half the time he is too and every time he is around me i get so depressed , i feel like i am starting to go crazy and i am about to have over 5 weeks off from work so i will have to be with him every second of the day .he is so selfish everything about him makes me sick . i wish i could live somewhere else but i have nowhere else to go , no family .and cant afford to live alone . he can afford to live by himself but he wants me to live there because we can still pay half of everything and he has no-where else to go . i dont know anyone because in the last 5 years he didn't like me having friends, so cant live with friends. what would you do in this situation ? thanks for your answers :)

An aquantince of mine, is sucking the very life out of me. Shes needy, boring and plain ignorant. She thinks of me as a friend, because i have helped her out a couple of times.
