Okay, I'm almost 25 years old, I have been with my ex husband since I was 18. We married when I was 18 and divorced when I was 20 for reasons other then seperating. I have always lived with him since the age of 18 and have 2 children, 5 and 3. Things have not been going well for about 9 months, but we are trying to work it out for the children. My ex husband and I only see each other, and still call each other husband and wife. I have never worked since I've been with him and I'm going to school right now. I heard him on the phone the other day and he was saying something about trying to end our situation before June, since that will be 7 years that we've been together. He has been asking me to move, even though we were married when we aquired the house, its in his grandmothers name, so he feels that he can make leave. So I'm wondering if I'm entitled to any sort of support even after a divorce never actually seperating till now?

When my wife and I first got together, I was well aware of the fact that she had been through a lot. She had been on drugs, been through a physically abusive marriage, had been raped, and had even been molested by her Uncle. Some people would call my wife "damaged goods" but I don't see it that way. Early on, she made it very clear that she had had many sexual partners: She's told me about having sex with more than one person in a day, she's told me a story about how a man with an extraordinarily large penis put her in the hospital, I mean all kinds of stuff. I know she wasn't flaunting this or anything because she had very low self esteem at the time and I guess she figured her sex stories were sort of a badge of honor for her. But now it seems like she has no sex drive...I mean NONE. Is she burnt out? Is it wrong for me to feel cheated that I'm getting the "leftovers?" I need help because this is really beginning to bother me.

Hey. I use to be really really shy. especially with woman. For the past few years though, just turned 21 this december, i've definatly gotten rid of the shyness. Problem is though, I havent really been on a date or anything since my first and only love which was about 5 or 6 years ago. I've seen a few girls since than but wasnt anything I would call a gf or a relationship for that matter. Just a couple of waist of timers really except for one. Now that im 21 though, I find it hard to tell if I actually like someone or if i'm just trying to be with anyone. On top of all this im a virgin (yea I know never thought they still existed). I know I can get some *** but im not the type to go sleepin around or a one night stand. Rather have a relationship. Question is, u think I screwed myself on being able to actually know if I love someone since I havent given anyone a chance?

My wife and I blended families and when we argue, we tend to gravitate back to split camps (like she then spends time with her and her daughter and I go and play with my two kids). I was used a lot in my first marriage and she was used a lot in her previous relationships. We seem to bring that into our marriage. We both think the other is going to use each other and sometimes it rips the fabric of blending the families apart. Problem is we never used to think this way. We used to do everything for each other. Now we second guess the others motives even though we both have admitted we do it because we’re scared of each other because we do love each other so much. I want to sacrifice everything for her and she does with me as well but something is keeping us from doing it again. Should I set the example and just start doing everything for her again and just take that leap in the hopes that we’ll get back to the way we were? I’m waiting for her to do the same thing but I guess one of us has to take the first leap again. We were very unselfish when we first got married now it seems we’ve gone back to being a little selfish. Anybody else have this problem? Is it a normal part of marriage?

I'm 45 and realise that my mother has never given me credit. I was always a "good child" - never gave my parents any problems. Although I'm sure she love(d) me, I've not had many reasons to FEEL it. I got married recently & I wish I hadn't but because nothing was forthcoming, I asked her how she thought I looked. I felt I looked the best I'd ever looked in my life - but all she said was "OK". Then she saw my brother behind me & it was all over to him. It's always appeared to me - he's the blatant favourite. I've worked hard all my life & have done well for myself but never once had a pat on the back. When I got my degree, she put a congratulations notice in the paper, but I was told it was to rub my ex mother-in-laws face in it! After my daughter was born, I felt I didn't need her approval anymore - but I asked her opinion at my wedding. I feel so sad at times it's overwhelming. I ADORE my daughter & tell her every day how wonderful she is. Any ideas?

I have a six year and his father is in jail. He has been in jail since he was 4 and will be in jail until he is 17. I don't want him to be mad at me when he get older for not telling him. He has a stepfather and he has been in his life since he was 2. I was just wondering when is a good time to tell him. He does talk to his real father every once in awhile. Should I let him tell him or should I tell him?

i really do care 4 a guy ive been datin 4 a while now. i always tell him im there 4 him if he needs anything. i believe he's gone in2 a depression cus things arent going right in his life. i wanna help him, but i dont wanna be overwhelming @ the same time. he's not really talking to people. he hasnt talked to me in a while. i even asked his bestfriend about him n they told me he hasnt spoke to them in a while and they used 2 go out all the time, basically every other night. he doesnt sound happy when i talk to him @ all. he's really stressed out too, but doesnt want to admit it 2 me. it's really hard to get in touch w/him 2, what can i do to uplift him w/o being 2 much?
