understand what things are special to her, and then show her that you heard what she said. For instance, what is her favorite book, candybar, gum, movie, flower etc. It is all about the small things in life, if you were my boyfriend, and you stopped to get gas, and went in and bought me my favorite candy bar, i would love that, and I know it sounds dumb, and childish, but it shows that you were thinking about her. Or if she really loves a certain book, you could find one of the first publishings of it, or her favorite movie is playing at an old theatre you could go watch it. On her birthday you bring a bouquet of her favorite flower. So in summary, if you show her you are always thinking about her, in very small ways she will see how much you care.

Compliment her... look her in the eyes with that loving feeling. : }
You can also surprise her with a gift or a special night out.
But it doesn't have to be the big things that get her attention. You don't have to go all out.
It's often the LITTLE THINGS that matter.
Little things like leaving random messages on her phone saying how much you love her (depending on if you two have said that to each other yet), giving her your coat when it's cold, etc.

To me its always been the little things that my fiance did that made me feel special. My favorite breakfast in bed, my favorite sweet treat when he knew I've been having a bad day. Thats always reminds me that no matter how much I think he doesnt pay attention that he actually does. And shows it when I dont expect it.

Notice things about her. Is she wearing anything new today or did she do her hair a different way. Notice her and she will feel very special.

Look her in the eye when talking. Really really listen to her. Tell her how great she looks, even if she's having a laid back day. Compliment her but be sincere about it. Notice the little things about her. Write her little notes. Be interested enough to learn her favorite color, favorite movie, song, etc. Good luck Romeo!!

My bf is a wonderful (and I mean wonderful) lover and he quite often rocks my world (quite litterally). But what makes me feel most loved is when he holds me gently in his arms and smooths the hair gently from my face before we go to sleep. If I am upset about something he will rock me ever so slightly and gently say "shhhhhh". I know it sounds child-like but it demeonstrates tenderness and it makes my heart swell with love for him

Do all the little things that you know she likes without her having to ask you. Pay attention to her and make her feel like she is the most important person in your life.

Be extra attentive to her when you are together. Be a gentleman towards her. Send her little gifts once in a while even if there is no occasion. Call her often and say you miss her. Send her little notes saying I love you.

hold her often. whisper in her ear while you hold her, show her off, ALWAYS listen to her no matter how mediocre her problems may seem. you know when she say's "i love you more" or something like that? fight with her! " NO i love you more" in a loving way of course. open doors for her, it makes her feel like a lady. when she dress's up or just when she's around, don't be afraid to tell her she looks beautiful, she needsd to hear it.
