I just read a post about a girl 19 being hit on by a married man at work and felt the need to ask this question.Why do people start relationships and more importantley affairs in the work place?I have seen this happen even though i am only 25 and no one ever wins.If an affair starts at the work place and it becomes known i have seen the person get moved to another department, asked to leave, or be fired.But yet i have seen a lot of career driven women hook up with married men they work with for a fling or premotion and vice versa.Most of the time its does not end well even when single people hook up at work so why do people do it?

but i really like him and i sit next to him in one of my classes so its not like i can just ignore him, and he always talks to me and makes me laugh. we're just friends and i wouldn't mind if we were more, but all the girlfriends he's ever had were popular and really hot, and i'm not not popular, slightly heavy, and not very attractive

I met a girl on new year's night and we both flirted with one another for a while. I eventualy asked her for her number and she said it was unexpected, while kind of smiling. Then before I could move my phone, she gave it to me no questions asked. She then told me she had just gotten out of a relationship, that's why she was taken by surprise. I asked her if it was still ok and she said yes, she still wanted me to call. She smiled and then said "You're very nice and considerate. Thank you".

Then after that, she didn't talk to me as much, but liked when I asked if a friend she tried introducing me to was as pretty as her. She had a big smile after that.....but she ended up talking and giving her number to another guy.

Then a guy friend of hers, who I knew for about 89 minutes......He told me I was communicating wrong and giving off "the wrong body language". Personally, I thought I was fine, but he said I hung around too much

Is it better I don't call? What's going on?

Used to have a good sex life. Now, it is a continuous frustration because she is always having hormone problems--thin vaginal wall. Doctor prescribed medication, but she is stopping it because it affect her joints. It seems that she cannot get any good answers. In the mean time, I am getting tired of masterbating.

I like this guy and he likes me the same way. The thing is he's white and I'm black. Personally, I don't have a problem with this. But I have a bad habit worrrying about what other people think. I am currently at a college where i do not want to attend. THe area is in the middle of no where and theres many of junkies as you can say.. I have told my mom every reason that i didnt like the school..Yet one reason is that ive been having sex and people have started to start many rumors and people are very trifling down there. Ok, so there's a dance tonight, and apparently I've promised 3 girls that I'd hang out with them. I think I like one of them, and I think they like me back. The other two are my best friends, but one of my best friends doesnt want me hanging out with the other because she finds her weird and not cool. Of course, I disagree with her, but I know she'll be mad if she sees me hanging out with her. I am 16.

I have been emailing to someone and last night talked to him for almost an hour. I told him that I wanted to just email and talk on the phone then we can meet. I want to wait 2 to 3 months before meeting.Is that being unreasonable?I have his email and he has mine and we both have each others phone number.He is no longer on Match.com and he told me he has gone out with some girls but nothing matched.I am taking the chance he might meet someone between now and then but if its meant to be then it will happen.He is 44 and I am 45.Any advice?I am also very busy and don't want to be stressed about this.I really wanted to meet the beginning of April because thats when my birthday is and am setting a goal for myself and want to keep some suspense.

I'm hispanic american 27 years old. I dont' have hispanic friends either, but how in the world can i have American friends?
I'm a quiet person and i don't think i would fit into their lifestyle cause most americns i have seen in my life are really talkative and get into gossip or deep conversations that i would not be able to handle. I speak slow and since my vocab is limited from being shy all my life, i think regular talkative americans would never accept me as an American.

Well, me and my best friend have known each other for about 4 years. We are almost totally different, yet we get along. However, whenever I am invited to her house to sleep over, etc. I get very bad anxiety. She is into boys, big-time! I'm not. I mean, sure, there are some that I have liked but I am not like her. Just a few days ago she talked to me and told me she has a boyfriend, and that "oh my gosh we can all hang out and then he can hook you up with his friends!" I DON'T want too! Those aren't the guys that I like, they are 2-3 years older than me and I don't want to be with that. I really feel like my other friends are more like me and I feel more comfortable with them. I don't get anxiety hanging out with anyone else. It's just this one girl. I can't exactly tell her what I think, I KNOW what the reaction is going to be. I just wish she was more like me and wanted to actually be a kid. What can I do? Plus, our mom's are very good friends, I can't really not be friends with her.

It is coming up to one of my close friends mothers death of one year, she has been through loads last year in short, mum died,damaged eye, broke bones! It was also on run up 2 xmas her bday, anniversary of dads death, xmas, new year etc.. so a bad time i have been there and supported her through all this, she is married with kids but at times couldnt talk to them so i was there. She in return has been there for me through stuff.
But what i would like to know is any advice on how i can help her through the first anniversary as i understand this is going to be the hardest time for her. I will not and have not changed with her i am still me which was important to her.
But any advice/help on how i can help her?
