Ok, so there's a dance tonight, and apparently I've promised 3 girls that I'd hang out with them. I think I like one of them, and I think they like me back. The other two are my best friends, but one of my best friends doesnt want me hanging out with the other because she finds her weird and not cool. Of course, I disagree with her, but I know she'll be mad if she sees me hanging out with her. I am 16.
What do I do?
Thank You!

The person that I like doesnt have a problem with my hanging out with my other 2 friends, but I really want to hang out with her. My other two friends dont like eachother, but I can't ignore them either.
Help!

Sounds like your best friend is jealous of this other girl, and the attention you may be giving her.. and it sounds like she'd seen the "chemistry" between you two so she's putting in effort to stop you from gettin serious, or else the attention will be diverted from her to this other girl. She can't be much of a vbest friend if she doesn't want you to be happy, basically i think you should just get to the party, and just hang out with them equally, not giving any of them more attention than the other. Maybe you could arrive with your two best friends try to get them into a conversation with other people, then slyly go talk to the other girl, if they cant behave appropriatly in the same group. Don't let your bestfriend cause you to miss out on a possible relationship that good be great, do what you want to do, and dont think about how its affecting you jealous best friend, she needs to build a bridge and get over it. goodluck

First of all, if you are only 16, enjoy yourself and whoever you enjoy being with. If others can't understand this, then they really aren't your friends to begin with. You have so much life ahead of you to be worrying about what others think now. Just wait to you get to college and out on your own. Your true friends will still always be there.

Good luck & hope this helped! :)

If you like the girl, your friend will understand. Are you sure that she only likes you as a friend? Maybe she's jealous and that is making this other girl seem very uncool to her.

What is wrong with doing what you want to do? You will make someone mad no matter what so go with your instincts.

Follow your heart, if you lose this friend, she wasn't worth keeping if all she wants is to MANIPULATE her so-called friends. So be happy, good bye so-called best friend.
