I just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year, i know its kinda late but i hope everyones wishes comes true and that you should try to keep to your resolutions for this year.

My divorce with my wife on pure misunderstandings which she wouldnt agree to clear. eversince the divorce, my mother in law was in support of me over her daughter as she knew her daughter (ie. my wife) was unreasoanable. my ex has married a friend of mine while i am yet to marry and lonely. meanwhile over these years the affection between me and my mother in law developed into love amongst us and we went to the extent of becoming intimate. we feel comfortable to each other. and she feels i could marry her as a support to each other. should i marry or continue the intimate relationship outside the marriage?

note : at the time i lived with my wife, our relation was just that of inlaws only

hmmm what should I do my boyfriend hasn't gotten me a christmas present and he hasn't been herre in 13 days now and hasn't phoned me in 6 days what should I do?? I wanna break up with him but should I phone him and tell him to come over and do it or wait for him to phone me?? one thing I know for shure is that he has to come back he has acouple of belongings here unless he dosent want them I dunno do you think he cheated on me?? im soo confused

I own two cats. My girlfriend loves me and has never judged me for having them. Many guys go by the stereotypical rule and think they have to have dogs. What do you ladies think? Do you go wiht the stereotypical rule as well or do you like a man who has a couple cats at home with him?

He Went To My Old School.
And I Never Really Liked Him,
But I Spent A Bit Of Time With Him As A Group.

Since We Moved Schools, He Has Really Grown Up, And Acts With A Whole New Confidence I Had Never Seen In Him Before.
I See Him Every Now And Again, Well Actually HE Sees Me And Makes A Point Of Saying Hi.

Id Like To Get To Know Him More, Even Date Him, BUT Every Time I See Him I Just Remember How Geeky And Strange He Used To Be.

or is it true affairs are always destructive and have dire consequences? We always hear how bad affairs are along with the people who engage in them but is that always true?

I'm reading a book about women who had affairs. The book's focus is on women who had "good affairs" and were happy they did. I just want to know if there are actual people who can attest to that. Thanks

this girl i met this year she is good friends of mine and i help her out alot. i love her personalty and she is the most beautiful person ive ever seen. i think she likes me too since she thinks im funny. but there are these awekward moments when we wait for the bell to ring and we just stand next to each other and she stares at the ceiling and stuf and if i look at her she will look away or eithe i do or her. i always say huh and stuff and she laughs for no reason but she is always looking the other way and trying to ignore me. same as me. we are both really shy. she e ven said " i love u" i have never heard her say that plus she is really shy, loud girls usually say that. if i ask her somethign she smiles but when we see each otehr int he hall way. i naturally ignore her and she does it too. by the way im 15 years old i really want to ask this girl out i love her. and we are both pretty mature. iif theres a guy bothering her i tell em to **** off and defend her but im tootoaskherout

I have never been to, or involved in, a wedding. Therefore, I don't know what is customary. I have come to believe, however, that the father always walks the bride down the aisle, to 'give her away' to her future husband. My father passed away recently, and I am getting married next summer. What other options have you heard of?

Addition details, in case they become relevant. My mother is deceased as well, I have no siblings who could give me away, I have no godparents, no step parents, my father has no brother who could do it, and I have never met any of my mother's side of the family. I'm running out of options!

So, I've been dating my boyfriend for about 5 months now. We're both in law school in VA, but he's from MN. Our relationship is great, and we're very open and honest. In November, he told me he found out his ex (in MN) is dating again, and that he was jealous. These feelings made him wonder if he's over her. Over Winter Break (which he spend in MN), he said he would see her again to see if his feelings were real. I was so worried, but then, during the first week of break, he called and said he was sooo stupid for thinking he might still like her. He said he'd been thinking of me non-stop, missing me, and only wanting to talk about me. I know all this sounds great, but part of me still wonders if he might be cheating on me with his ex. The main reason I'm having these feelings is because I found a letter she sent him in November, in which she said, "Good luck on exams, I miss you, baby." I know he can't control what she sends, but still. Do you think I should be worried?

Is there anyone? Because it seems as the everyone who posts in YA are the most upstanding, morally decent people in the U.S. either that or everyone here in fat and ugly and your significant other is the only one that will have you.
