Where is a good place to go on a first date?

I want to go to a place where we can have fun, but also where we can talk and get to know each other better. I was thinking maybe bowling or miniature golfing. I am 17 and have been home schooled most my life, so I am new at this stuff. Thanks for your help.

I think it depends on your date and why types of things they might like. I think miniature golfing sounds like a great idea. Personally, I would recommend almost anything but a movie. A movie would give the two of you no chance to get to know one another.

bowling would be a little loud and smelly.
so u wouldnt really be able to communicate through that.
and miniature golfing is a little boring ... well for me anyway. ha.

but it depends what she's into.
if she likes art... take her to an art museum.
if she likes animals... take her to the zoo.
if she likes science ... take her to cosi.
if she likes puppets or stuffed animals ... take her to build a bear and let her choose her own bear to dress etc.
if she likes to work out ... take her rock climbing... etc.
if she likes big citties ... take her somewhere she can walk around and look in windows or stores etc.

and so on and so forth.
it all depends on what she likes most. :]

i always go for bowling or shooting pool! thats always fun and u have plenty of time to get to know that person better cuz its something ur not in a rush to do. or just simply go to a coffee shop and hang out and maybe catch a movie afterwards.

How about go for a walk in park, where you too can hold hands and talk to each other. Starbucks might be a pleasant place too.

i would say dinner either eating in or out either is fine..nature walks whether on a groomed trail or on a 2 track.nature walks if the conversation goes stale ,mother nature usually helps out to keep the conversation alive.
