Are his feelings the same? If you both have feelings for each other then yes, 6 months is too long to be flirting, you should be dating. If feelings are not mutual then the one that is "in love" needs to walk away before they get hurt. The truth needs to come out, love or friendship. Good Luck.

Not sure what you mean. I've been married for years and still flirt with my husband. If you're flirting for 6 months and he's ignoring you or nothing is happening, yes, it's too long.

Of course not. The longer you get to know someone the better the chances, that the person is the one for you. Love takes time. If he is single and available and interested in you, he will let you know. Don't go chasing afte him, that does not look good, besides the guy will try to exploit you for that and will not respect you.
