I'm dating this wonderful guy who helps my parents out when he comes up yet they treat him like dirt when he is around sometimes and talk of how they hope to be rid of him yet they totally act like they are not even doing any of these things. I mean I love him and we plan to get married when I get out of college. But what should I do about my parents?

I have been with him for 10yrs and he cheated on me with his ex. He barely was a part of his children's life these last two months and now he's making an issue of it. He's being so cruel. People say that I'm beautiful and have a lot going for me. However, I don't see it. I just want some advice to move on and start looking at myself as they do.

My father is deceased, and cannot walk me down the aisle. In answer to my previous question, many of u suggested a close male friend, a friend of my father, or an uncle. My father had one sister, and she is married. She and my uncle-in-law (i call him that to show that he is not blood related, but married to my aunt) have been around for me, and have been helping me in any way that they can. However, as helpful as my uncle-in-law is, he is only in our family by marraige, and I don't feel close to him. I don't really want him to walk me down the aisle, but I know that he would love to, as he has no children of his own.

My other option would be my dad's good friend. He and his wife used to be around alot, but I haven't seen them much lately. I have no godparents, but my dad once told me that this friend and his wife would have been. This man was part of our life out of friendship with my parents, and I love him. But he has two children who he got the opportunity to give away.

I had this crush in highschool who we almost hooked up but never did. Instead we drifted apart.

Right now, four years later I'm married to a man that I really see no future in because he goes off to his office in LA at 5am, comes home at 6pm, and then just watches TV the rest of the night. He has no friends and refuses to take me out. We don't have any kids and he plans on not having any.

I bumped into the guy that i liked in highschool and we went out and caught up with each other. I had so much fun remembering the good times.

He asked me how my life was and I said I was married and he was happy for me. And then I told him how I think i have no future with my husband.

When it was time for me to go, he walked me to my car, then suddenly whispered in my ear that if I leave everything I have right now he would marry me right away. He said while he was away in the Navy, he never was with another girl because he wanted to find me again.

I'm so tempted...
WHAT DO I DO??

My sister and I don't get along. She recently told me I couldn't get a man even if I wanted one. What do you think? I am 5'10", have a size 36 C chest, don't have any rolls or beer belly or anything like that, have a butt, brown, shoulder length hair with side bangs, olive green eyes, fairly tan skin, and only piercing is in the ears. I love Chinese food, travel, Europe (especially Spain), music, reading, and my friends and family. I like to bike ride, rock climb, bowl, ice skate (i suck at it though, haha), read, write, go jogging, dance, do yoga, cook, and hang out with the people I love most. I'm extremely outgoing, bold, kinda wild, passionate, and have a bit of a sarcasm problam. I stand up for my beliefs and speak my mind and don't let people tear me nor others down.

I NEED to go out and just have a good time. . .but, what approach should I take?

What approach would you want me to take with you if we'd just met offline?

Would you be happy(not dealing with it) but happy if this was your marriage:
You cook,clean,raise kids,never go out
and your husband:
goes to bars after work or comes home to eat and leaves or goes when he wants, where he wants, shows you minimal affection, dosent assist in raising his kids, cleaning or cooking.
So,if not,why do some of you do it? Why marry this person and then have his kids with him? Better of single then adding another needy brat into the picture or even better marry a partner, not a dictator.
Please state age, where you live and if your married
Just wondering.

I have a son who just turned 17. He doesn't want to adhere to the rules of curfew and stays out all night sometimes and comes home whenever he wants. I have to stop it somehow. He told me if I don't like it he will move out that since he is 17 that I can't stop him. I am at my wits end. He is a good kid, but he is stubborn, and right now friends and fun are more important than home and family. I am s single mom, and we have no other issues other than him saying I no longer have control of his actions, that he is free to do what he wants or he will move out and that there is nothing I can do to stop him. I can't keep on living like this. I am not sleeping nights, and I am getting to the point I don't ever see him anymore. How do I stop this. What is the age limit for him to leave home if he so decided to. I thought it was 18 but he says no, when he is 17. Everytime I say anything , he replies, I can just move out if you want me to. I am so tired. He is so arrogant, yet a good kid.
