Actually, in some instances, a bride can marry her dead groom. Say you've been together for years, and your wedding date finally arrives, but the groom dies in a car accident on the way to the ceremony. Legally, the bride can petition the court to take her late finace's name, and have her status changed from single to widdowed. I think that you have to have family approval or something like that, as well.

Obviously you can't marry someone who is dead. The groom had to be from a previous relationship and he passed away. In the current marriage, a minister or priest etc. will marry the bride to her new and very much alive groom.

None. The groom is dead. I believe the bride would be sad and the least of her mind is to figure out who to marry next.

No one.
Didn't the brother marry the bride in the Bible or something? Is that what you're referring to?

Depends on the country, religious beliefs and if the groom had a dying wish. I've heard its the best friend.

No one...if they weren't married yet, then the bride becomes single again. If they had been married, then she is a widow.
