This is not recomended.
Healthwise, dirty blood is not a good think to mess with especially in the age of HIV, Hep C and STD's.
It is also the time when a woman may be most likely to get pregnant.
Wait until her period is over, at least 3 days.

Yes a man can have sex with his wife or girlfriend while they are having their periods. My fiance and I make love all the time and it does not matter that she is having her period. While the flow is light we just cover the bed with towels. If it is a heavy flow , we just move the fun into the tub or the shower. It kind of makes it fun! She is in the medical field and she does not know of any complications that go along with making love during this time of the month.

Yes you can have sex with your wife while she's on her period but as other people have told you it can be messy. But I will help you get a solution for that. It is called Instead, I will give the Web site at the bottom. Basically what this wonderful product does is to keep the menstrual flow confined inside of a plastic-like reservoir. You won't be able to feel it and neither will your wife. I hope you haven't been depriving your wife "sexually" while she's been on her period for to long, she must be in agony every time she knows it's coming.
Please, buy this product for your wife and give her something to remember!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I addressed this exact ??? to my M.D. and the answer is yes. You must be in a monogamous relationship otherwise you are up to a lot of trouble. During this time the cervix is a little open, the semen causes more cramping than usual. From a woman point of view you do not feel your best at times. Menstruation is body secretions (high risk sex). I think that if your wife is willing to go for it, than go on. It takes two so if she doesn't want respect her and wait. Personally I prefer to abstain during those days.

Yes you can and no to the complications however there are many downsides to that. For one it is messy requires showers for each partner. My suggestions is to lay down a towel to avoid mess to the bed sheets. Odor of course is a problem too. But i say give it a shot and if it works for both of you then that is great!!! Good luck!!!!

first of all.. that's nasty... that being said.. no nothing will happen. There are no complications. But if she wants it too. I know when I have my period, I have bad cramps, my breasts are extremely sensitive, my back hurts, etc. If she doesn't want to, don't push it. Just wait a week. I mean maximum 5-7 days. I think that isn't too much of a wait.

Yes he can however, it's just not very "clean". I am personally not a fan of having sex with my wife while the little red fairy is in town.
