When my daughter first started dating an african-american man, I couldn't have been happier. All her life I taught her about the horrors of slavery and the greatness of the god-kings like Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks. I'm a progressive liberal so I am more enlightened then your average american. I was so happy, I even didn't mind the age difference. She is 18 and he is 39. But my problem is that I think this man is taking advantage of her. He made her stop going to college so she could earn him money. She used to work as a waitress but that wasn't enough money for him so now she is a stripper. Worse, he lets his friends sleep with her but they have to pay him. I know this is societies fault so I don't blame them. Also, he had beaten her in the past, but I couldn't possible understand his rage. Sadly, she recently contracted HIV from one of the men and her boyfriend fliped out. He assualted me and said I owed him. I gave him some money but he said it wasn't enough. What can I do

My friend wanted me to post this question up for her because she only has MSN messenger.

She hasn't had a boyfriend before and is considering dating this guy shes known for a long time. The guy loves her deeply but it bothers her that he was dumped in his last and only relationship. She is very very pretty and has turned down a lot of guys up until now. Her question is if she gets with a guy that was dumped will that make her look really bad because she can basically get any guy she want? PLUS, she says the girl that dumped him is one of her enemies and is completely ugly.

I told her plenty of famous and successful people get dumped such as halle barry, lindsay lohan, p diddy and the list goes on. That doesn't make them any less desirable. Please give me your input and help me get through to her one point or another =) Thank you!

ok so my family doesnt like my fiance, they liked my last bf who was abusive towrds(physically and verbally), but he was really good to me infront of people and they think i made up every thing i said about him, and m husband has never done anything to hurt me, he doesnt hit me and he doesnt yell at me and he still treats me good when we are at hime, and my family doesnt like him but they have never even given him a chance, his whole family is good to me and they treat me as if i was one of their children, but my family just wont give him the time of day and as a result of that they dont speak to me.they wernt there when i had either of my children, they didnt come to my sons fuenaral, and they arnt commin to my wedding,what should i do about this whole situation, and they wont come to see my new baby girl, so what should i do???

On Dec 30 my best guy friend came over and then we were talking and he was telling me that I worry him and he cares alot about me and whenever I'm daiting someone new and there not around he always holds my hand and jumps on me and pkes me in the boob. And he treats me better than his gf and he complains to me that his gf can't kiss and stuff like that. And whenever I try to invite him over to do something and my bf is over he chickens out. Why? I am currently involved in a long distance relationship with a wonderful man. We met when I was living in England and we dated for a year but then I had to come back to Canada and we decided that we would have a long distance relationship. He came over to visit at Thanskgiving and is planning to get a work permit to move over here in the spring. Lately though, I am getting very jealous and possesive of him. He spent this past Christmas Eve and New Year's eve with a friend of his who happens to be a girl he used to be in love with. I never got to meet her because she was living in New Zealand when I was in England but now she is back and I hate it that they are spending time together. He has reassured me a number of times that I have nothing to worry about, and that he loves me and is faithful to me but I still have my worries. He is starting to get really mad about my jealousy and has even admitted that its driving him away from me. How do I get control of my emotions? HELP!

i've never been in a relationship, but don't try and use that against me, its just not right, there meant to love this gf, but they talk about there ex's to them!?, how do they think this makes there current gf feel, if the guy actually cares that is.

what is the mental processes behind it?

Just wondering what goes through someone's head when they drunk dial. My ex seems to do this often the other night she called 4 times in 2 hours and left 4 messages. I just dont answer because she is too cowardly to call when she is sober. I am not a big drinker so I dont get the concept. I am wondering if she misses me and maybe wants to reconcile or is she just drunk and cant control herself. We went out for 2 and a half years and she broke up with me and has new bf. Every time I go no contact on her this is what happens. I ended up hooking up with her one night when she has this bf. It was stupid to do but not I am just trying to cut all contact with her as it is not good for me, but anyways any insight would be helpful. Thanks

Last year this happen and the principal just talked to him not even a suspension nothing. And once he lit the toilet paper on fire in the bathroom and stomped it out. All the pricipal did was take the lighter away. What would you do if you were in my shoes? and most of the parents agreed with the principal!!!

okay when I shave one day.. like the next day its kinda prickley. && when I go out,, I dont want to be prickley.. l0l. So when I shave like the next day,, I get razor burns. Is there any way I can prevent this besides not shaving 2 days in a row (b/c sum days I have to). I cant wax, b/c its super messy and it never works right with me. what could/should I do?
