I always advise against getting back together with exes. It generally is not a good idea. Think back to when you broke up -- there were certainly reasons that you did so, and if there's a chance those same issues will come up in the future, chances are that you'll break up again over the same things.

There's an old saying that goes, "Fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me." Basically, you know what you're getting into this time. All the same old problems will still be there, only this time you're asking for it.

Nor did you say why she broke up with you, or her version of why? So exactly what made her start thinking suddenly of a guy she dumped a yr ago ?? I'd say you are still physically attached. You have a souvenier to prove that. Remember, when it comes to STD's, we are all willing participants in the sexual gamble. You are both equally responsible for not being prepared, or not doing adequate homework with this partner.
