My husband and I have only been married a year and a half. He is contantly wanting to visit his family that live 5 hours away. I understand like a couple times a year but he wants to go almost every month. It's really starting to drive me nuts. Plus all his old buddies live in the same town so it seems we are spending more time with them than his family. I dont ask to see my family as much. We only went once in the past year and a half to visit my family. He says it's cause my family lives 8 hours away. When I complain about us visiting his family so much, he says that I'm trying to keep him away from them. Which is so not true. I'm just used to having my time and not having to visit so much. I feel like we are newly married and we need our time. Him wanting to go so often makes me feel like he's not ready to be married because he has to go see mommy and daddy and his friends all the time. He's already asked me to move up there. There is no way I want to now. I'm so irritated.

I was talking to a really good friend of mine last night. She continuously gets rejected by guys. She is not the smallest person in the world, but her attitude and personality more than makes up for any physical flaws she has, well, in my opinion anyway.

Last night I felt so horrible for her when she said "Ya know, no matter how I try to look at myself and all this rejection...when it all boils down to it, I am just a little girl in this world, who wants a boy to like her."

I guess I can understand that guys like to have 'arm-candy' to show other guys what they can get as far as a woman is concerned. But, I guess I DON'T understand why guys can be so shallow they are willing to pass up good women because she's not 'a barbie' - then complain that good women are hard to find.

Guys, do you have any input to share with us women about this subject?

My wife's mother and her siblings had a big fight on Christmas. The family has basically been at each other's throats since I have met them. Last year their Patriarch (my wife's grandfather) passed away and now they fight over his tombstone. It is just the newest thing for them to fight over. I am sure he is embarrassed.

During this recent argument, my wife's uncle, Oaf, brought me into it by saying my mother-in-law was jealous of his daughter, Crass, because she had a better husband. Oaf also said Patriarch never liked me.

Crass used foul language toward my mother-in-law at a funeral. In this latest argument, Crass called my mother-in-law "evil and sinister." Crass' brother, Neanderthal, shuffled in and started accusing my mother-in-law of causing the problems. She is very sweet and innocent.

I want to lash out because my in-laws have been wronged and my wife hurt but I am worried because I think Crass is insane and I am not sure what she is capable of. What should I do?

Why don't the 'big bones' stick out any where? I have seen bones in biology class, at the doctors office and the museum and they have all been pretty thin, is there some where I can see some of these big bones?

I certainly do most of the time. I work full time, but my work doesn't end there. I pay the bills, balance the books, buy groceries, cook dinners, clean the house, handle birthday cards and presents, Christmas cards and presents, all of our insurance, income taxes. My husband also works. He takes out the garbage and maintains the cars.

HELLO?

How do women with children do it? I know I wouldn't have the time or energy for kids on top of the rest of it all.

My hubby has the week off, and I do not. I asked him to clean the bathroom sink. I came home...he had merely wiped down the countertop and claimed that was fine.

Do any of the rest of your feel totally unappreciated at home? You know, I pride myself on being an independent woman, but c'mon...I need at little help! What will he do when I die??? Live lik a pig and not pay the bills? Starve to death? And sorry, "I love you" isn't appreciation enough. We need help guys.

Recently a guy told me that his girlfriend called and told him that she needed $35 every two weeks to get her hair done. He thought that it was an unfair request because they did not start off their relationship like this..so why should it change.. One girl said that in any relationship she's in she expects the man to pay for something if he expects to Sleep with her. Hair, nails, a phone bill or something. She said if he didn't she could always find a suga daddy who would with no problem. She also told this guy that his girlfriend probably already had another guy lined up who would do these things for her, she was just giving him an ultimatum. Either give her the cash or she's gone. So I commented that aside from paying for dates, I have never had a boyfriend pay for anything for me. I have never asked or had a man offer to pay any of my bills, or get my hair done. All the females in the room looked at me like I was nuts? Should I be demanding these things too?

I would like to have a bouquet of red flowers. My bridesmaid dresses are apple red. I am trying to find a good combination of flowers that won't clash too much with the dresses. Any suggestions??

We talked about this before we got married but he seems to think there's nothing wrong with receiving from her and going out to lunch.

I have a crush on a guy friend of mine, whom I see at work everyday. I have suggested to him that we stop talking altogether so I can get over him. What do you think of this?

Everytime I come home to visit my family I either get upset about something or I'm arguing with them, there is no happy medium. My sister has some type of undiagnosed mood disorder and fights with every member of my family non-stop. When I'm here my mom will find a way to blame me for things my sister does. Then, I'll call my dad crying and saying that I can't wait to go home and my mom will then start telling me things like no one wants you here, please go home! Ironically enough, she is always the one begging for me to come and visit. What should I do?
