Views, comments, anyone had this occurrence. I know when you ready and it feel natural you say it, but curious on others input. What to say to the other if your not there yet?

I know the feeling . . . I mean from the his point of view. I tend to fall in love quickly when I think the girl is still perfect. You know, that moment when you know enough to love her, but not enough to see her for who she really is . . .

Anyway, you need to sit down with him sometime. Take him seriously. Begin by affirming the relationship. Let him know where you are in the relationship. Don't mention where you think he is directly, but more where he should be. Maybe even mention you take love seriously and are not ready to bring it into the picture yet. Before the conversation is over, reconfirm the relationship. The only thing that will make this conversation bad is if he thinks you are preparing to break up with him.

Remember he's just a boy who's found a woman worth keeping. He thinks that's love. Maybe you could even mention your definition of love. He might agree.

Love is a very strong word that is used and abused in many ways to gain something. I find that when I say I love someone it usually slips out without me realizing I have said it. The other person does not have to say anything in reply until they feel the word slip out on there own time. I had a similar experience with my ex, she slipped up one night by saying "Love you" After I dropped off some boxes to help her move. At that moment she realized what she said and quickly wanted to change the subject, obviously thinking it was too soon to say. I really liked her and replied ditto in return, not saying the word, but just to let her know that there was no harm done, by her feelings directed to me. A week later I found myself slip up as well when I dropped her off at work. I said "I love you " instead of "Good Buy". Luckily she was out of the car already and never heard it. I personally felt that after a month of seeing each other that it may have been to soon. I left it at that. I didn't want to scare her away. I actually enjoyed her company and began to love her baby girl as well. But in the end it was up to her to stay together.

Just make a cute smile and try (if you can) to tell him how you really feel. It's never good to lead someone somewhere they're not supposed to be. Or, try to love him back.

if the person is also my ultimate choice but i still have not reached that level, naturally i'll feel mixed and undefined, and won't know what to answer. so i'll just give a sweet decent smile.

He's a lying sack of crap, 99.9 per cent of the time. Such a man is only worthy of contempt, and you should get rid of him.

And if he really means it, he wouldn't care if you didn't say anything in return, because love doesn't expect anything back.

You say 'I love spending time with you.' What does that mean? I really enjoy your company, and I like you alot, but I want to take things slow.
