This has the potential of being classifiable as sexual harassment under the "creating a hostile work environment" sections of sexual harassment law. This means he could potentially sue the company, allege emotional AND career damages and take a tidy sum of your company's cash.
Even IF he has been accused of a sexual wrongdoing of his own--unless he has been convicted-- then he is regarded as Innocent and the above scenario still applies.
If he was some sort of VICTIM of a sex crime, then he has even better chances of punishing the company for allowing its employees to torment him.
If you are concerned, then I suggest two approaches.
First, I'd make sure that you speak up whenever someone spouts of with the "rape-boy" epithet. Let them know that you consider that term to be out-of-bounds in a professional environment.
Second, I'd advise the HR manager of what is going on, and remind that person that gender and sex-based comments can trigger harassment law proceedings. The HR manager might want to meet with the guy, and might need to remind the office that they need to back off for their own jobs' sakes.

He has two options:
1. Explode @ everyone that calls him Rape Boy. He should tell them " My name is (dadadada)! If you have a problem with that i can call you jacka!@# " But I don't recomend doing this.
2. Calmly telling them that he doesn't like being called that and he is a goood person. If this keeps up, let your boss know what harassment is going on behind the closed doors.
Tell him i said good luck and he will win this in the end!

Uh, if the nickname has any validity, he may want to STOP what warranted him the name, or deal with authorities.

"Rape Boy" would suggest that he is/was the one being raped?
Did he just get out of prison?
