why cant he see that someone who really cares about him is right in front of him? am i doing something wrong? i think he likes me too but i cant be too sure. everytime i ask him.... its all *silence*

I have been dating my boyfriend for seven months. In the beginning he was very attentive, couldn't do enough for me.. after a few months things started to slide. Now he never wants to do anything with me except stay home. He is an exceptional cook, but we don't go out ever, to a movie, for a walk, anywhere. We didn't do anything for my birthday in October, no gift, no restaurant. He went to visit his daughter for Christmas on the west coast and now he has decided to stay out there for New Year's Even and New Year's Day to visit more with her and visit with friends. He knows how important my birthday and the holidays are, but yet, because they aren't that important to him it doesn't matter. I don't know if I'm being selfish or he is.

We met in aug & started dating he pretty much moved in with me after the first date. We got engaged on Christmas of the same year & were planning to marry in april. For valentines day he got me a rose & a box of chocolates which I appreciated but, not long from then I found out that he sent his ex around $200 worth of flowers for v-day. My heart was crushed all the trust I had in him disappeared. I ask him if this was true & he denied it but I couldn't let it go so I ask a few other family members & their answer was he did it. His brother ended up talking to him & found out that he actually did send the flowers so he came to me & told me about 2 months later. how could he keep this from me when I gave him every chance in the world to just tell the truth . He bought a place & moved out although we still dated I stayed at his place or he would stay at mine but no sex involved now he uses my car, money, and stays here now & then just as a friend do you think this will ever be more?

My boyfriend is spending a lot of time recently with this girl, sees her about 3-4 times a week and also works with her. He reassures me constantly that he only wants me and nothing is going on between them except they get on well. What's worse is that she fancys him and everyone knows this and she bought him an expensive xmas present which really annoyed me. Then they spent the whole of boxing day together which made me feel so jealous. Am I wrong to feel like this? How close is too close?

yahoo messenger in 2003. We have an apartment, purchased a car and both are going to school. She was raped last year at her old job and it has taken her a long time to start socializing again. Im having to work 2 jobs to pay the bills and with my schooling, it has become very stressful for me. I came from Australia to be in Indiana with her so i obviously didn't come here for the sight seeing. I've gone through so much; i left my entire family and all my friends so i could be with her. I've become very controlling of our money and sometimes hurtful with the things i say which she doesn't deserve after all she's been through. I keep telling her its just the stress of being overloading but she convinced me that i really am emotionally abusive. I really don't mean most the things i say, as i love her very much and would do anything for her. If we divorce, i will not only lose her but i will lose everything. should i walk away or should or try and ask for her back?

My Ex and me have been together for a year and on the 28th of November, we broke up once again. She's famous for breaking it off with me every few months because she gets pissed over something or other and doesn't want to discuss it. Once it's out of her system she talks to me again. Right now she isn't talking to me at all. No contact. We don't live in the same state so it's not like I can run into her. I've emailed her a few times, even during Christmas to say Merry Christmas and I bought her an expensive gift that she accepted but did not even say thank you for. This isn't the worst fight we've ever had, there was others and she's always talked to me again. However, this time I think it's different, this time I think she won't respond to me ever again. How do I change that? How do I get her back? I love her very much. I've tried the flowers bit and everything and nothing has worked. IF it were my fault, I would say it but I hate to argue, all the arguments she starts.

a friend and i had a fight a month ago and she decided she didn't want to be friends anymore. we haven't talked since then.

but last week, she emailed me happy b-day. she also mentioned that sumthing's worrying her (completely unrelated to our friendship. final exams results). she said this in a very brief sentence, even just implying it. (she is not a needy person, it's just a very important result for both of us)

i'm thinking that she was expecting sum kind of comfort from me, but then i replied with "i hope it turned out well - you deserve it". would this have comforted you, if you were her?
i think i just made another mistake... correct me if i'm wrong.
