Stay away from those types, as far as you can and get a injunction order if you can but don't let him near you. I don't think obsessions are healthy when it is a person in question, and stalking? Well thats a good enough reason to get away.

If he is a friend then he isn't stalking you. Stalkers are people you don't and probably never would consider as a friend. It may be true that he is obsessed with you and it is up to you to try to stop this obsession.

If it bothers you say something and what do you consider stalking?
If he is always popping up where you are does he make it known, he might just be trying to get your attention. On the other hand it could be a disorder and you could be in harms way if jealousy comes into play.

If he's 'that' obsessed with you, then you need to call the police and get a restraining order. I should know because I had experience with my old friend, Alexander.

Be blunt and say give me some space. Or try humor. Worse thing you can do is ignore this behavior. It is inappropriate and a violation of your friendship.

If you think he/she is...then he/she is. Step away from the stalker!!!! Do not have any contact with him/her. The sooner the better. Addictive personalities are unstable and can be very dangerous. Please act immediately for your own safety.

If this makes you feel uncomforable you need to speak out and tell this person how it makes you feel. If they are a friend you need to be heard.
