She supposedly said she was drunk at the time; to me that's not a good excuse.

If you feel that forgiveness would be better for your soul, than go ahead and forgive her, but you shouldn't restore the friendship. Honestly, I don't think it could be what it was before, ever. The real issue here would be trust. Whether a relationship is a emotional love relationship or a friendship, the basis of what keeps it together is ultimate trust.

Your girlfriend broke the carnal rule relating to girlfriends..."never go where your girlfriend has gone", especially with a spouse. Thank goodness he is now your ex!

Maintain your dignity, forgive her, but keep her at arms length.

IF SHE DID IT ONCE WHAT MAKES U THINK SHE WON'T DO IT AGAIN AND THAT IS A POOR EXCUSE THAT SHE WAS DRUNK. SO WHAT HAPPENS EVERY TIME SHE DRINKS U HAVE 2 WATCH HER THAT SHE DOESN'T TRY 2 SLEEP WITH UR MAN. RESPECT IS THE KEY WORD AND SHE HAD NONE TOWARDS U REGARDLESS IF SHE WAS DRUNK FRIENDS DON'T DO THAT. SHE IS NOT WORTH A SECOND CHANCE. SORRY BUT LONG TIME FRIENDS DON'T DO THAT.

i personally wouldnt give them a second chance because i wouldnt be able to trust them again.without trust there is no friendship. and it sounds like she had no respect for you or your friendship. drunk is no excuse, ive been drunk before and even in that state of mind i would not ever do that to a friend.

It's not a good excuse, but it's better than none. Why maintain a friendship with someone who won't respect your relationships? Drop this person and get on with your life.

My best friend of 14 years did that to me to. I forgave her and tried to move on with our friendship, but it's always there. Our friendship is never going to be the same and I 'm not sure if I should've forgiven her --who's to say she wouldn't do it again. I know that it is a hard decision to make, so Good Luck :o)

Well, he is your ex..........and obviously she's a sl*t.
Depends on if friend is really important to you.

But I would have to say not unless you'll never be involved with men again. Cause if you get another man, she may end up drunk again.

you shouldnt give any1 a third chance, but a second chance is ok. But can you really trust her again? If you cant just walk away when you see her. There is no reason for cheating what so ever!

Ya, that's the kind of friend you want. Someone the gets drunk and spreads her legs for your husband then blames it on the alcohol.
Pick better friends AND better men.

For a friend to do that it means that she is not a friend to be that thoughtless and arrogant. If you give her second chance it could happen again

A friend? Nah. She made her position clear enough, drunk or not.
