a friend and i had a fight a month ago and she decided she didn't want to be friends anymore. we haven't talked since then.

but last week, she emailed me happy b-day. she also mentioned that sumthing's worrying her (completely unrelated to our friendship. final exams results). she said this in a very brief sentence, even just implying it. (she is not a needy person, it's just a very important result for both of us)

i'm thinking that she was expecting sum kind of comfort from me, but then i replied with "i hope it turned out well - you deserve it". would this have comforted you, if you were her?
i think i just made another mistake... correct me if i'm wrong.

Maybe you should just call her. Suck it up and talk to her.

Yes dear if I were her. It's a test for your friendship and take it easy since she make the 1st move by greeting your b/day and share her trouble with you,if the crack is that big you wouldn't be talking to each other right ? Don't do anything that might make you feel sorry for the rest of your life alright ? All the best .

If you really meant it then it was not a mistake.
