i guess hes my boyfriend now...we just because exclusive a week ago but weve been dating for a month or so. and i dont know if i should get him a present. first it was just sleeping together and dates and such n i thought we were jus friends with benefits but now he says he wants to b exclusive. so i dont know if i should get him a lil smthing. what would u do? and what if he dosnt get me nething but i get him something? thanks in advance!

I was with my bf for 2 yrs, hes 23 and im 19, we were livin together for the last few months, away from parents. We were talkin bout our future together, where we gonna move to, kids the whole lot! then he goes home for a night to his parents place and comes back the next afternoon, really distant. We got into a fight and he ended it sayin he needs to be alone and that he 'cant' be with anyone right now. he said his parents arent happy about us,they dont like me cause im quiet and they thought it was rude! the thing is he never once let on to me that he was feeling like this and acted as usual around me. i love him so much and would do anything to have him back but he just says its how it has to be like someone is holding a gun to his head. im so messed up about it all i even took a heap of pills the other night, stupid i know but thats how depressed i am. i just dont understand how one day things can be fine or at least he can act like they are, then dump me!

My wife of soon 13 Yrs took her rings off because thay were to tight on her finger, and now that it's getting colder she doesn't want to put them back on. I am pissed because she said that the ring is a symbol and it's not the ring that says we're married but what's in the heart that counts. I think it's bullshit i believe it is a symbol that you are married and when you give a ring you are giving a part of yourself, and not wearing it makes me feel like that part of me is not there when i see an empty hand. Am I being silly or should you always wear you rings, ladies I need some help on this one.

We have been dating since May - He just moved in last month. I think he will probably as me to marry him in a couple of months. I am hoping in May cause then we will have been together for a full year - then we can have a 6-month to 1 year engagement before we get married. Neither one of us have ever been married or have kids. If I were younger I would never have gotten involved this fast (and as you can see I never did), we are both very happy together and we both feel that we got to really got to live out the single life. We are both ready for partnership...
So do you think because we are older now that we should have a shorter waiting period?

Lately, I have had several experiences where unmarried guys have touched me or talked to be a bit too affectionately for comfort. I wouldn't be sensitive about this if I knew the guys were married or had girlfriends. One of these guys works where I am at and is a couple of decades older than me!!

Have other men had such experiences? How do you deal with it without hurting the guy's feelings (especially if he is not gay!!).

Also, how many heterosexual men are finding more success in attracting men than women?!

so there is this girl and we dated almost three years ago but then i was retarded and cheated on her so i couldn't live with what i did and couldn't tell her so i broke up with her. now we are talking again and will probably end up getting back together, should i tell her or should i leave it alone. ...so, there's this guy in my class. I don't really like him that much, but sorta. I'm pretty sure he likes me, 'cause he's always looking at me and stuff. Today, we had this math quiz thing and one of the problems was to get 8/15 into a percent. I knew how to do it, but he didn't. While I was passing him, I whispered how to do it. Now, he's acting weird around me and looking at me different. I don't know what to do. I know that I do a bad thing and I shouldn't have, but I just couldn't resist. Does this mean that I like him a lot, or not? Is it that he doesn't like me anymore? I saw him whispering with his friend and then look at me...does this have to do with anything? I don't know what to do! Should I keep acting normal or tell him something? Thank you for your help!

My twin brother phoned me today to ask me what the dinner plans for Christmas dinner is, as I am the one whom puts dinner on every year. I told him that I basically wanted him and my niece to come to dinner. Without his phoney wife. She had gotten in a argument with my brother one day and in the heat of the argument she forgot my daughter was in their vehical with my niece. She told my brother I am not going to pretend to like your sister, I am going to stop it now, once and for all. Also when she comes here she drops off my brother and niece while she goes out till early in the morning the next day. When she opens her eyes she wakes up my brother to tell him it is time to go. When they come here I maybe see her 5% of the time, as the rest of the time she goes clubbing and leaves my brother here. Obviously she can't stand to be around so why should I have her here for Christmas dinner? She said that if I wanted them here for Christmas dinner her mom has to come too.

My boyfriend bought me my christmas gift, and it's something I don't want. While we were at the store i was trying to hint at him but he didn't seem to catch it. I don't want him to waste his money on something for me that i won't enjoy and i hate acting excited because its not who i am and i hate being dishonest with him. Normally i would jsut tell him that i dont want it but he's been discouraged about getting me a gift because he didnt know what to get and the last thing he almost bought me i owned already and he didnt know. plus he was upset that he went over budget with all his gifts so i dont want him to think he wasted money.. i told him to not buy it and get me something after the holiday and he didnt catch that either.

now it's at my home...
should i just take it and pretend i love it or tell him? and if so how.. i dont want to upset him i think that his heart and mind was in the right place it was just not the right gift.

from the UK to live. We hooked up coz I didn't think it would go anywhere & I've just come out of a long r'ship. (By the way, I learnt I can't do casual...) Things were really great (not boyfriend/girlfriend) but we agreed to be monogamous. 4 wks ago, he told me (b4 he knew me) he'd made plans for a UK ex-fling to come out for Xmas & that he hadn't known me long enough to cancel. He said he couldn't promise he wouldn't sleep with her & he'd like to see me in the new year after she left, however doesn't want to see me in the interim. He said didn't want to hurt anyone. I've swung from telling him 2 leave/not call me to txting him asking if he wants to catch up (I haven't seen him for 4 weeks). He's feeling a lot of pressure & doesn't like it. I know I managed it poorly, but have I ruined any chance now? We had plans to go to a concert in Feb - but won't contact him again. If he does phone in Jan, should I even bother with him? I really like him & want him to chase me? How do I do this?

he still lives in his state and i moved far away ...going to college. he has a child from another woman. he wants marriage, kids,etc. i dont. he says he loves me. If I don't answer their questions, they get very hurt and start manipulating me and putting guilt trips on me. If the think I am lying to get out of answering, they just think I am so hurtful and disrespectful... So how do YOU handle nosy people...?
