She's 25 and I'm 19. We think our parents will be okay with it but I'm not sure we should. So far all we've done is make out once. She wants to get more serious and I am so confused.

My friend and me like the same guy.....but thats not the story the story is when I asked this guy out for my friend he said IDK and I'm like is it more on the yes side or no and he is like yes and i'm like u should ask her out...and he is like Why and I'm like WHY NOT and than he is like well people tell me she is a slut and things and i'm like so if u loved her enought u would care about roumrs and he said IDK.....but IDK if he likes her becuase the way he acts around her and me but she tells me he those like her and just the differnt way he acts around me and than around her its just werid and he also talks kind bad about her what should my friend expect?

My dad is a heartless asshole with many problems. I am 13 now and my parents have been divorced for 8 years. I have hated him since I was 5. When I asked him before if I could live with my mom, it was horrible and all that happened was he said that our mom provided an unhealthy dymnamic, and he insulted us. My grandparents also cried a lot. My mom knows i hate him, and would be very happy if my sister and I lived with her. My dad is verbaly abusive, an alcoholic, and he used to abuse our dogs very badly. What I want to know is, when can I say i don't want to live with him and the judge respect that without going into many of my reasons. I would be willing to bring up more arguments, but the reason I am reluctant is because of my grandparents pain in my disliking their son. My dad doesn't even put up a christmas tree, and my mom overcompensates for him by decorating and getting us tons of presents. because of him I have had many horrible holidays. I would appreciate any answers I get.

I am having communication problem with my wife.
Every time we start a topic, we end up quarreling.

We have been married for 2 years only and our relationship is deteriorating every single day.

I have a hard time convincing her to go for counselling.

I tried the web, there isnt much to teach how we can to communicate peacefully.

home and her sister lives on the other side. her dad was there yesterday to visit her sister (his other daughter) and her family and didn't visit my friend (he hasn't visited her since march and visits the other daughter frequently, usually a few times a month). but my friend doesn't visit him, either. they live about a 5 minutes drive away. when my friend came home from work, there was a present in her living room for her 4 yr old son for christmas and a card for her with "i'll think of you, love dad" written in it and 8 pennies taped inside. what could those pennies mean? (my friend knows he was there to visit because she saw his car there when she was leaving for work.) could it be something sarcastic since he waited until she left to take it to her house so he didn't have to see her?

I would really like to know why when you look for questions on Marriage, you have to go to the combined "Marriage and Divorce" section. Why can't these be seperated? I know the divorce rate in this country is super high but come on, does the Yahoo company just decide that if you're married you'll probably be divorced soon so just put all those questions in the same area? How can I appeal to Yahoo to seperate the two? I'd really like to read just about marriage rather than divorce.

okay so i was with somebody for a while then i broke it off and decided to take that person back after realizing i had made a mistake. then that person breaks it off after we got back together....and got with somebody the day after..i believed all the lies the "i still love you" and "we could still be friends" i was just soo mad at him i pushed him away and didn' t bother to try and be friends...that person did the same. after the relationship didn' t work out, he's recently jumped into a new one and yet i'm still not over him. i get soooo emotional and i feel completely helpless. i want to be friends with him because i miss him so much.

I usually dont ask for advice like this but I am just so stumped. I am in my 20s so this is weird for me to ask.

Here's the thing. At my place of employment we had to hire extra employees for the Holidays. Well one of the Holiday people is the guy that I have become attracted to.

We have had small talk and have joked around here and there and I always make sure to smile when I catch his eye and he smiles back.

My problem is that beyond the small talk he seems kind of shy and I myself have a very strong personality with only a hint of shyness. I'm just used to being aroud other people with strong personalities like mine.

So my problem is that I want to let him know I am interested ASAP because the Holiday people leave soon and time is ticking. I just dont want him to shy away. At the least I want to just be in contact after he leaves. I also dont just wanna blurt that out.

What do you think is the best approach to this?

I tend to think you don't make mom jokes unless you've met the person's mom and there is a stronger friendship, so I was really mad because he put my first and last name on the away message and he's never even met me or my mom. I use IM mainly for work. We went to the same Middle School and connected on myspace but never met each other though we lived in the same town. He is 2 years younger than me, so maybe he's just immature, but he seemed to be rubbing it in when I responded to his surprising away message with "Nice..." and he was like, "you know everyone on AIM can see that right, lol" Does he have no respect for me? I don't want to be the girl that doesn't stand up for herself or who is in the dark about the fact that she is being teased, and I also don't want to be the girl who can't take a frickin' joke!
