No matter what I get her, she ends up returning most of the gifts to the store, or never using them.
Everything she wants is either not her size or not availble.

First off it is CHRISTMAS not XMAS -- okay!
What does it matter if she returns it for something different?
What is important is that you took the time and effort to go shop for something you would like your wife to have. If it really bothers you that she is returning things, spend the same amount of money for a gift certificate at her favorite store. But, be sure there are a few things to unwrap.

GAH. First of all...if you want to buy her something to wear, find out her sizes and WRITE THEM DOWN! Secondly, I suggest getting her a gift card. It's the easiest way to go, and you really can't go wrong. If you know her favorite store, get her a gift card from there! And..she likes flowers, right? buy her a nice bouquet.

Gift giving is usually a pain in the @ss. What I do is generally just ask my girlfriend, and then I go out and get it ! And don't fall for the ( it's the thought that counts ) bullsh*t,That is a crock of sh*t ! Good luck.

you really don't have to think about it. If you have a return a-holic then find out where she likes to shop and get her a gift card. I know t is a little impersonel but hey she can not return it.

I would say your problem is bigger then xmas. sounds like communications issues...clothes seems to not be working so don't buy them...make a private list as the year goes on of things she mentions so next year you won't be stressed and it will take the pressure off and she will love that you remembered.

YES! She is your wife! Get her a photo in a nice frame of you two at your honeymoon or at your wedding. Something that was a special moment for you two. Something that shows her you care!

Get her flowers and some nice perfume. Maybe even a nice ring. MAKE SURE you include flowers in it! Find out her favorite kind somehow and get her them. Attach a gorgeous card saying how much you love her and nice things. 'Hope you like it!' Things like that. :)
