She expressed that we should not spend TOO TOO much money on eachother since we have a lot of other family to get gifts for...but I'm looking for something she will be amazed at. Something unique, and something interesting.

26 Year old girl.

I have had a star named for both of my best friend's boys. They are only 4 & 2, but hopefully one day they will think it's neat. The prices range from $19.95 to $69.95 with the difference being whether you just print out a certificate, or whether you get it in a padded certificate holder or have it framed. You also get a CD that you can use to locate your star. http://www.starnamer.org/index.htm

Also, you could get a pretty jar or container and write little notes that she could take out each day and read. Examples: "I love you." "You own my heart." "I'm thinking about you right now!", etc. It could be anything. If you have any inside jokes you could put those in there. It would be guaranteed to bring a smile to her face, and you to her thoughts everytime.

I also had a pencil drawing done for my friend. I used one of her favorite pictures of her son when he was a baby and then had it framed. If you had a picture of the two of you together, that would make an especially nice gift. I had mine done from a guy on eBay, but last I checked he wasn't drawing anymore. There are other people on eBay who offer this service though.

what about a nice frame picture of you and her. I'd use a casual picture (those candid ones when you both don't look at a camera) Put some nice words in there. Make it personal. This kinda gift is so inexpensive and very memorable.

Photos that will remind her of you guys relationship in the past 3 years.

What does she like?
Big hint for guys ....don't try to second guess a females taste.
If you don't have a very clear notion of what she likes in cologne, perfumes..etc...as well as clothes....watch ot.
Save the fredericks for Valentines day (as long as that also includes dinner, and some thoughtful surprises at home ie: music low lights...a relaxing bath for her...with rose petals scattered everywhere...lol).
A trip to a day spa...but don't stop there...
3 years.....???.......get her a matching set of going out jewelry....in her favorite stone color (ring, necklace, earrings)..everyone has them on sale right now!
If you still want to do the intimate apparel thing....go Vic's secret and stay on the soft silky side....not the topless bar costumes...lol
Ok...if you've been really paying attention to her....you know about that one thing....maybe from her past...a memento...an heirloom lost....you can find ANYTHING on ebay.
No cooking utensils, appliances....lol....her favorite album?.....listen.....she's probably telling you goober.

How about you get her a nice frame. Inside the frame, you can put a picture of you two in a great moment, or of you two kissing! It's nice and not a lot of money. It shows you care and is simple! I give those presents out to my uncle and aunt and they still love it!

Peace out!! Rock on!! Happy Holidays!!! Good luck!!

Well this isnt really unique, but kind of...

Go to Parisians, Macy's, Profitts, Belks (one of those).
Go to the jewlery section and get her a very pretty necklace with a single colored stone. Something she can cherish.

If she is at all sweet natured, the best gift you could give her consists of small things. Give her flowers, a piece of jewelry, and then give her a hand-written letter letting her know how perfect and special she is to you etc...
