my wife is pissed at my parents for giving me advice while we were going through a hard time (while we were separated my dad basically told me to talk to a lawyer and take money out of our joint banking account because my wife sounds like trouble and to protect myself). now she basically hates them for giving me this advice and won't let them down for the holidays because she said she had no intentions of divorce but to get some things solved and she cannot believe my parents would think that i needed to protect myself from my her! (we are back together and doing pretty good). i'm stuck between trying to be with my parents at the holidays or putting my wife first (and not tell her just to get over it). i know you're suppose to put your wife first but she's just being overly emotional and a baby i feel like sometimes. however she's putting me in an uncomfortable spot. upset my parents or my wife!!! it's nuts.

I haven't seen my ex boyfriend in almost a year and he wants to "meet up" with me next week. I'm so shocked and confused as to why he wants to see me. We only dated for a month and it was a very innocent relationship, we never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save sex for marriage. Neways, he would still contact me on msn even though HE was the one who ended it. A few days ago I logged on msn and he said "we should meet up if I have time". Ok, so maybe you've heard this one before, but, I seriously am into this guy... but the problem is, he's, at least, 20 years older than me.
The age of consent where I live is 16, so that's not a problem (I'm 17), but would it be acceptable for someone my age to get with a man that was almost 40?
Would someone his age ever be interested in me, or does he just view me as a kid?

I don't know how I can pursue this, since I don't know his true feelings. I mean, he flirts with me a lot, but sometimes, I can't tell if he's just treating me like a kid.
I've had small crushes on older men before, and dreamed of pursuing them, but never did.

How can this time be different? Can anyone give me some tips on what to do here?

I don't want to be made a fool out of, but I'm sick of these adolescent "crushes." I'm 17, and I've never had a boyfriend, been kissed, or anything.

the divorce rate is now 1.1 in every 2 marriages end in divorce. That is over half. Does anyone really think the homosexuals can do any worse? I always hear how it's a sacred act between a man and a woman and God and how the vows are so sacred and mean so much yet those same people are on marriage number two or three or more. I don't get it. Anyway, does anyone else see the irony here. Living in the Bible Belt myself i'm sure this will light a fire under alot of people. I doubt I will get any good answers on here.

I met a girl and she gave me her number and I gave mine. We talked for 3 hours one night. And two days after she phoned me but unfortunately I was not at home. So I gave her a call the next day and we talked for 1 and half hours. We talked really good until she mention she's not interested in having a relationship because she'll be going to college.
