ive been going out with my bf for 3 years
and everything has been great
but today he got mad at me cuz he saw me talking
to one of my guy friends
but i meen i wasnt flirting with my friend or anything
but he still got mad
and i was like why dont u want me to talk to him
and he was like
"i dont like u talking to him"
but he was soo mad about it
he had never acted this way
im confused
i dont get it

He's insecure--tell him you are just talking. He most likely thinks he's not good enough, and you will go to someone else.

he is the jealous and controling type, u may want to re-examine him.
Dont put up with such an attitude from a guy, it will lead only to destruction and misery.
Either move on or tell your bf that he does not own u and u can talk to whomever u want.

maybe something has happened in his life. he may be stressed about something or someone has said something to him that made him curious about you and your loyalty to him. or has messed with his self esteem. i would say talk to him and ask him is everything is okay. surley since you've been dating that long you can talk about anything. try to work it out, first of all. talk about it and dont assume. remember being honest is the best thing to do and dont keep any secrets and always keep an open mind... think about how he feels too. okay hope this helps and good luck.

He sees this particular guy as a threat.
Does this guy friend have a rep with the girls.
Tell your guy you would choose him over any of your friends, ask him if he wants to meet this guy for coffee etc. He is a friend to you but a stranger to your BF let him become a friend to both of you.

It sounds like he is overreacting to the situation to me. Keep an eye on that, you don't want to wind up in an abusive relationship. I have been in one, and they sometimes start out that way. It could be nothing,maybe he's just a little jelous. Just keep your guard up.

Maybe he is talking to a girl and when he sees' you doing the same, which nothing is going on with you, really something is going on with him. So he thinks you are doing what he is doing.

hes obviously insecure and maybe the guy you were talking to is someone he feels intimidated by you should show him more affection and asure him hes the only one for you
