Well this is simple. Your ex may still have feelings for you. Otherwise he wants to make sure that you are safe. Remember who broke up with who and for what reason. If you broke up with him for something stupid, then he may be regretting what he did and wants to be with you. He's jealous that you're going to clubs and dancing with other guys, he wants to be the only guy in your life. If he broke up with you, then he's thinking that he is an idiot for letting you go, and he doesn't want another guy taking his place.

i think he is just worry. Dont worry. He is just asking. Just be honest if you are not guilty. Anyway, honesty is the best policy. If you are honest and you are innocent, there is nothing to worry about. But if he is the one that went to a club, will you ask the same question? I think you will right? or maybe you wont even bother? i dont know. But just not worry too much if you are not guilty :)

Because he was jealous, just like you wanted him to be. Even if he is not into you, he still dosen't want anyone else to be either. This is typical male behavior. Just move on.

He might not know you well enough and he is just insecure a little probably, also it could be that he is jealous but i would go with insecurity.
