so what i really want to know is should I give him a gift for x-mas or should i wait till his b-day(which is jan 5)?Or should it be a gift for both since both days are only 10 days apart?or maybe 2 smaller gifts,one for each day?I also dont know what to get him...my friends say I should get him a gift card,they say u cant go wrong with that.I want some more opinons.....thankx

This guy was showing alot of signs of interest.
Whenever I'd see him, he'd say Hi, talk to me and so on.
He asked me random questions and sometimes I'd initiate conversations to. Well..one day he didn't. So I went to him and asked him a question about school. Then after it was quiet a few minutes, he got up and went somewhere else. So a little later I went and talked to him alittle more. Then after it was quiet a few more minutes, he got up again. Well after that I was sorta embarrassed, so I didn't go to him anymore. Everyone always says that if I'm shy and don't talk to the guys I like, they might take it the wrong way and think I don't like them anymore..so I take the advice and do something about it..and then this goes and happens!
What happened?
Does he not like me anymore?
He never says HI or Bye like he used to..he acts like I'm not even there.
I was going to give him a stocking of candy for Christmas..should I still.....or no?

Yeah..well, my cousin's name is Mitch and this boy's name is Ben. Ben teases my cousin about 'forgetting her water' on the bus (because it was raining on the bus and water was leaking from the roof of the bus) and my cousin asked me what it means when a boy teases you ( i know it means Ben likes my cousin) but what if he really doesn't like her? I really don't know the answer to that so I might as well ask. Oh yeah, and they're just 5th graders...but I think Mitch wants Ben to like her though..'cause she also told me she only had a few boys who liked her, and she told me that Ben might be her second crush.

My hubby already gave me my Christmas present. Its a diamond necklace worth more than my car (at least $5,000). Is it wrong for me to be mad at him for buying it? Dont get me wrong, I love it. Its not what I expected from him at all but he said that it was all our Christmas budget. Is it wrong for me to be mad at him for that? Im afraid to wear it for fear of my babies pulling it off. And he said to wear it on occasion...we dont go anywhere! Its it wrong for me to wish he would've used the money for something more reasonable like paying off my tuition, or a new vehicle like he promised, or something I could really use everyday? Its so beautiful and Im terrified to wear it. He even made the comment that its not something that I would wear everyday. I feel so guilty thinking like this and I don't want to hurt his feelings. If its all our Christmas budget, I cant get him or anyone else a present. I don't feel like I deserve this gift. Am I so wrong to think this way?

This is embarrassing but I can't stop thinking about it and it is really bothering me. Please no mean answers I just need some advice. Yesterday I asked my boyfriend to be intimate with me and he turned me down. He said he didn't want our relationship to be "just about sex." We really don't even do it that often. Should I read more into this? I felt very hurt and rejected. Maybe I am not attractive enough for him? Maybe I was too forward? Guys if you could answer this I'd appreciate it, and girls I'd like to hear what you think too. How would you feel if your boyfriend turned you down for it and how would you deal with it? I feel kind of awkward and uncomfortable around him now. If the reason he gave is the real reason, that's not so bad. I think I am just worried it's something more. This has never happened to me before. Any advice? Thank you for your help :-)

I got married to my second husband in March. My son and I have been alone for 3.5 years after my divorce from my first husband
( his father)..so this is a big change in our home. My husband seems to want to change everything about my parenting. He doesn't like the way i discipline. I have let him know he can't come into the house expecting everything to change as this has been our lives for the past 3 and a half years. Plus things have been very calm and well handled in the house.So I think my parenting is very good. He threatens to spank him and punish him over the silliest things that he usually instigates. It's like dealing with two 4 year olds. It's putting a real strain on our marriage. Anyone have any advice on how I can calmly handle this situation without taking sides or seeking a divorce attorney?

A pretty attractive guy, whose name I prefer not to mention, wrote me a cheesy, but cute, poem. This is what it reads:
**Roses are Red
**Violets are Blue
**There is not one star

So, there's this guy at my school that's reaaaaally hot, let's call him Mike, and I've had a major crush on him ever since the day I met him, but Mike had a crush on my best friend, let's call her Cindy. So Mike asked Cindy out, and she said yes, but after a month they were dating, Cindy cheated on him (she's crazy!) But all of the sudden, Mike says that he wants to date ME!! But I don't know what to do, I mean, I'm so in love with him, but my best friend hates him because they got into a huge fight after Cindy cheated on him, and it'd be REALLY weird 2 date my best friend's ex.... she is my best friend and whenever i see her now i think of all the laughs we had together and our entire friendship. i can barely talk to her without wanting to break down in tears. 3 other friends are moving too. one to a different continent. everyone is moving away and i feel really depressed. what should i do to deal with this?

I work with this lady and she is not my supervisor, but I do a lot of her work for her as part of my job. She might be bi-polar as she has crazy mood swings (slams her phone, door and yells snaps at everyone).

She has a habit of going to the lady in the cubicle next to me and whispering about how she thinks I did this project too slow, or how I didn't stop what I was doing to take care of something she wanted done right away.

I can hear her whispering and I know she is talking about me, but I can't confront her because she will freak out because of her mental issues.

How do I deal with this *****? Everyone hates her and my boss said they can't fire her since technically she gets her job done.

HELP!!!

Since my boyfriend joined a band,i think he's been introduced more to the 'rock and roll' lifestyle because he's hanging about with older people.Don't get me wrong they are great people.But...a few weeks ago i found out my bf had been smoking,because his ex had given him cigarettes.I was raging because i hate it and my mum does it...and the doctors once found a shadow on her lung...i dont want the same happening to him.The week before he promised he wouldnt smoke but he did.So he told me he did it to look 'cool' even though he knew it was stupid and promised he never would again.Then at the weekend,he went to a party everyone was getting stoned at(all these older people),and when they offered him a joint he kept saying 'no katie(me)would kill me'.I feel like i look like an uptight idiot not letting him smoke.But i hate it...what can i do?He's 15.

Is anyone else just sick of hearing 'you're doing the right thing, you're being the bigger person, don't stoop to their level'. While the other parent is being lax in their parental rights and obligations (not paying support, not seeing the kids) Am I the only one that struggles sometimes with wanting to equal the playing field and lower myself to his level? I would never actually do it, but I do wonder about what it would be like to play dirty...does anyone else struggle with this?

Hello

Ill try to keep this short... I was with this one guy for 2 year bought a house together, and i lived with him for a year. About 4 months ago we broke up, and then about 3 months later moved in with this other guy ..... And now i don't know what to do. I don't want to be with him anymore.

Should i do move home now... or wait untill i find place of my own?
