I was molested as a young child, starting at about 6 weeks old I think. I've had five years of therapy, I've come a long way. But will I ever truly recover? After all this time I still find the idea of sex disgusting some times. I still often pick men who turn out to be abusive perverts. I also still cry fairly frequently whenever I think about my childhood and the fact that my mother let me abuse me. Do I just have to feel glad that I've made some progress but accept that I wil never fully recover from this emotionally?

Ok...i'm 13 and i'm moving countries from MI. I totally love my crush and he knows that i like him 2 but i don't think he likes mee.Before he knew that i liked him we wud lock eyes and just look at each other for like 2 mins but now i can't gather up enough courage to look at him. We're not really friends and i'm always telling ppl to ask their crushes out but i can't do that. I went through a tramatic experince when i was younger. Now my parents are divorced and my mother takes care of all the kids. I started dating this guy who moved too fast, and now he harasses me. I want to be loved like every one eles but i'm afaird that my standards might be to high, becasue of what i've been through.

I have a question about what you would do if you ran into this situation:

You're friends with a girl and have sex when you’re around each other. Neither one of you wants to be in a "relationship" with each other except to just be friends. Okay, I have a wonderful boyfriend who loves me very very much. He puts me to sleep every night by rubbing my back or stroking my hair. He bakes my favorite things. He fills my gas tank without me even asking. He's intelligent. We share A LOT of similar interests. He's terrific. We even have great sex. I just feel something is missing. I don't have a passion for him, a yearning for him and we've only been together for 3 months. It was never there. Am I crazy to think about leaving? BTW- I am 30 years old.

Why does my husband not show interests in his two sons...... one having turned just 3 and the other one only 2 months.... He doesnt feed, or change diapers and doesnt bother to hold his two month old...... I've known this girl since freshman year of college (about 4 years), we've always hung out together, never really gotten together. For about three months now we've been going out and things are going really well, she's everything that I want in a girl. In January I am going to start a new job about 5-6 hour drive away from where I go to school. She graduates in May and will move to the same city. I've told her that I really want to keep things going, (as we will only be living apart for about 5 months) but deep down I don't think she believes me (she dated an a$$hole before me that treated her really bad and I think that she really got hurt in the whole thing and she is a little hesitant to committ.) Why do some guys find it so difficult to be honest and just tell his gf that he no longer wants her? Don't you think it hurts her more to be held in limbo while you keep telling her everything is alright and you miss and love her? When i was younger (around 18)i was very thin. Now that i'm older (28) i've gained weight mostly due to i was walking and taking the bus everywhere now i have car, birth control and just working all the time and being to lazy to get out and exercise. So im about 50pds heavier. My mom just found out she's a diabetic and is constitly on me about my weight. Everytime i have any kind of pain, its cause of my weight. when i go to her house i hate eating anything cause she gives me that look. When we talk about it she always breaks down and tells me she dosnt want me to be sick like she is and starts crying. But it just makes me feel so shitty about myself cause i dont think im that big, neither do my friends or bf. I dont have the heart to tell her the reason why i was so skinny is cause from 17-23 I was heavy into drugs and barley ate. in fact 17-23 i dont even remember. so how can i spare mine and hers feelings.

I am in a foreign country, I do not speak the language here and need credit on my phone to feel secure-I spend about 10 pounds on credit per month. She is a student and I am the bread winner

I have severe feelings of loneliness. I'm a stay at home mom and feel like I don't get any interaction with adults. I have no friends. Everything is so overwhelming- Its like I scrub and clean and cook and fold and there's always more to be done. I love the kids so much, but having them right under me 24/7 is taking it's toll. My 1 year old won't let anyone else take care of her because she's attached to my hip all the time. If anyone offers me a break with them, it doesn't work because she won't let anyone else care for her. Sometimes after I get the kids to bed, I'll be watching TV alone (My husband usually plays his stupid video games in the other room) and if he comes through the living room and notices I'm crying he'll ask what's wrong and when I tell him how I feel he just rolls his eyes and shakes his head and says "you're depressed you need to talk to someone" What's wrong with that someone being HIM? Is he a jerk, or do I seriously need a lot of help?
