If you are, say 24 and younger, I would say wait a bit, too many people get married before 25 and they don't make it. Between high school and 25 you are still trying to find out who YOU are, how can you make a lifelong committment when you don't know that? Give yourself and her the time to find yourselves, to grow up a bit, establish yourselves and become self-dependant.

If you get dependant upon each other early, you'll never know what it is like to have the freedom that being your own person is like. Also, if you wait until you both are self-dependant, you'll know for sure that it's love, not just a security blanket you're both looking for. Been there, done that. Avoid the pain and heartbreak, it's worth the wait, plus it's even worse if you have kids. Sure you feel drawn together, and that's wonderful, enjoy it, but don't sign away your life too early, you have lots and lots of time. Good luck!

If you love her more than you love yourself and would be willing to die for her, you probably have what it takes to stay married. If you are more into you and what you want, then you probably aren't ready to get married yet.

you need to think about what you would do for her, give up for her, or do if you didn't have her anymore.
