It happens to almost everyone.
I just thought of all the reasons why I'm marrying my husband and that took it away. Well I had to remind myself on a daily basis sometimes. After the wedding the cold feet will disappear.

Well welcome to the world of marriage. Almost everyone experiences this. I think the ones who don't are the kind of people who wake up later and ask what happened.

Getting cold feet....having doubts.....is all part of it. It is one of life's biggest events. Because it should never be taken lightly we all should have concerns and ask ourselves if this is the right thing to do at this point in your life.

The real question is to determine how much you love your partner. If...in spite of your reservations...you can't imagine life without them....and you feel that is the way they feel about you.... then you are going to be just fine.

If the answer to that is....well I am not so sure of how I or they feel.....then you really should stop everything and begin to find out what is wrong. To many people find themselves where you are but just go on without reflection and soon end up in divorce.
The US divorce rate is at 50% or greater. Not much reflection going on I am afraid.

It is normal to have doubts. This is a major life-change that you are about to embark on. If you truly love your fiance don't let fears of the unknown cloud your judgement. If you two are fighting (Which some fighting could be stress from planning the wedding) sit down and talk to each other. Don't call off the wedding unless you are 100% certain that you don't want to go through with it.

Just ask yourself WHY you're getting married and what you come up with will let you know whether it's just butterflies or a stop sign. If you are the praying kind the pray about it.
Wishing the very best life has to offer!

Gyrl Bye! who doesn't? You'll get over it, believe me. I had cold feet and was in tears up until i got half way down the aisle and then i started busting up laughing hysterically the rest of the way down the aisle because all the fear just left my body. You'll be ok. Good luck.

First off, not "everyone" gets cold feet. It may just be your inexperience that makes you doubt your choice - or perhaps it's a sign that something's not "right". Talk to a trusted friend or relative who knows you as a couple, and bounce your concerns off of them.

It's probably because you need more heat in your house. My feet get cold when it is cold outside. Oh, you meant feeling nervous. I see. Well, I think this is normal. We were all nervous.
