Financially we do ok. We have to manage our money but we live well. We have three kids and we spent about $200 each on them for X-mas. I just spent $400 on a family ring for my wife. Part of me feels bad because I spent more on her than each of them. Is there anything wrong with this?

What can I do to cheer her up? Like things to do, and say and such.

My boss finds excuses to talk to me and stupid reasons for me to come into his office and stay for awhile while he tells me his life story. Some thing he does, for example, one day I was playing around with him about bringing me in donuts to have with my coffee and the next day he brought me in a donut and told me that if I told anyone he brought this for me then he will deny it. He plays around all the time by putting on his glasses crooked or upside down to try to get me to laugh, or he will just make eye contact from across the room and hold that gaze. Everyone in the office says that I have him wrapped around my finger, but I can't figure out if he is just playing. We are both married and he is 22 years older than me. Does he like me or is he just being nice? If it matters I am his secretary so we do have to be around each other a lot.

I mean the one that gets you all excited like you are little again. Mine was feeling all cosy christmas eve sat infront of the telly. Knowing that i wouldnt be able to get to sleep. Then waking up Christmas morning and my mum and dad had got all the presents down, from where they had been hid. Then having a party at my uncle and aunties and being given a tinsy winsy drop of alcohol.
Its just a pity that time goes so fast and many people who used to be with us have passed away.

My parents for some reason don't have much money anymore and things are really tight around here now. I'm not used to not being able to get things or having to live in a penny pinching lifestyle. My parents are getting upset with me because I don't get it and right now I'm so confused and don't know how to handle this anymore. I don't know my question. I guess it's just that I'm confused about how to handle this situation.

I'm in the library right now studying for exams with my bf. We've been dating for 4 months, and I've totally fallen for him. He told me he loves me and that I'm probably the best person he's ever met. That being said, he also told me a few weeks ago that he's jealous that his ex is dating again. He and I go to school in VA, but she's from MN (where he's from, too). He said he needs to see her over winter break to make sure his feelings are nothing to worry about. I know this is tearing him apart because he really cares about me. The problem is that he dated her for 3 years and even though he dumped her, he's having trouble thinking about another guy taking his spot. I can kind of understand this; I felt that way with my ex. Anyway, I'm sitting here super-jealous because I can't bear the thought of him possibly deciding he wants her back. I'm seriously about to explode here. Please tell me something to make me feel better. I'm going nuts!

My ex-boyfriend and I were dating for about half a year. Since we broke up, we've been close friends. Now, a month later, I've found a new bf. To get back at me, he's flirting with my best friend. She doesn't like him, but she doesn't want to hurt his feelings. Plus, he does it right in front of me. What should I do?

Tell me truthfully. Let's say you are a married woman with kids and you're 35 years old. If a young man (18 years old) keeps hitting on you KNOWING that you are married, does this turn you on or off? He'll say stuff like "you look great in those pants" or "your hair looks nice today" and look at you intensely.

i mean drugs along the lines of marijuana, alcohol, xanax and painkillers. nothing realy to intense and doesnt make you hallucinate. i am trying to study different types of drugs and the effects on the mind. so if you could give me examples of the softer drugs that would realy help

My sister is a really good person, I think she doesn't want to be a parent. She has 3 children, she's been seperated from her husband for about 3 years now so she is considered a single parent. The problem is, she is raising her children just like our mother raised us. With a lot of yelling and whoopings. I know a lot of you probably don't agree with the whooping part so let's just deal with the other issue. Her daughter is very hard-headed, and difficult, but the only way my sister responds is by yelling at her and it's ruining her daughter. I live with them now, so I try to intervene a lot by dealing with my niece myself. But it's her child, not mine. My mother recognizes that it is because of how we were raised as to why my sister acts this way. I managed to recognize that and change that about myself with my children, but my sister is not dealing with it that way. I want to talk to her about it without hurting her, but I don't know how. I love them so much, I just want it to change

I'm the last person that would ever consider getting married. My ex and I have communicated ever since we broke up, three years ago. He's stationed 10 hours away (he's in the Marine Corp). He's my best friend . We both still love each other very much.It was silly why we broke up. When we were together I was affraid of getting married so I broke up with him. We've been talking about it again and I'm ready now. The question is, should we wait until we find out if he's being deployed or should we just do it right away?

I love being a single independant mom that takes care of my children w/out welfare may I add and I couldn't see me living with a man for too long he lives in his house and I live in mine let's not let the two mix. What's so bad about being single in this world with children, so can someone give me the pros of marriage I already know the cons:

Cooking and cleaning up after a grown up.....not gonna happen
Consulting with a man as if he's your god...not gonna happen
Aiming to please someone else instead of yourself
Less money because he controls it
Less space and someone in your face
Sharing everything......not not not gonna happen

necklace for our 6 months. but he's saying that he's gonna get me the it wen we're married aka "when the time is right". the problem i see is that he dont noe how to make me happy, by giving me present,flower...althoug im happi to be with him^^. i gave him little gifts for him for our recent month anniversary (1st,2nd,3rd..month).sometimes wen i get mad, he wuld jus stand there and i wuld walk away and he still wouldnt come for me and ask me wat's wrong. he doesnt hold my hands, its im the only one to hold his hands. he say he's haven date that well nd he dont understand stuff that well in a relationship. i love him and i wont dump him for his.. shyness.... but sometimes i jus want him to get the stuff instead of me telling him to get it...>.<
