I am 17 and I have never been asked out on a date or to Lunch or anything. Im not a creepy person I used to play basketall and Im in the band. I am not bad looking and I am smart. The guys say to me that I am "to good for them" or "I am to good of a Friend" I don't understand if guys like to hang out with me then why arent they interested in a relationship more than just being friends with me? Thanks for your time and please help me!!!!

Based on what your people are saying, you're already attractive enough. Don't wait to be asked out...If you've found someone you like, invite him somewhere. You may be a bit intimidating. Try suggesting like a group thing...or just keep bugging your crush till he relents. Try a guy whom you haven't known for a billion years already.

I tend to have the same problem. I was in band in high school and at the top of my class. Most guys were too intimidated to like me more than a friend. And I played percussion so I had a lot of guy friends. All I can say is not to change or dumb yourself down so they will like you. I found out that a lot of guys do like girls for being "real" and sooner or later the right guy will like you for being just who you are.

So, leave your door step, stay with your music or what ever else you like. While going and doing the things you like, you will meet hordes going and doing the same!

well my advice is dont try to be someone ur not, because then the guy wont like u for u but for ur looks. just be urself, talk to more guys. make ur self more social, or u can make urself more girly girl. if guys like to hang out with u instead of a relationship then maybe u should make the first move and ask him out
