Talk to him about it. Instead of yelling at each other walk away. Don't stomp or show that your mad, that will just make him even more angry. When you've cooled off and you believe your dad has to, ask him if you can settle it through calm words, not fights.

For one that is your dad,you don't need to argue with him for any reason! You should sit down and talk with him, tell him how you feel and go from there.Yes i know a dad/mom IS NOT the easiest person to get alone with but you should try to talk instead of fussing and going at each others throat.Try to sit and explain what and how you feel..it helps to talk and discuss these things with your parents, instead of arguing and fussing all the time.Good luck and God bless you.

Two ways to go. One is to figure out what it is you are actually upset about. It probably doesn't have anything to do with the topics of the argument, right? The other approach is to just say, that you're not going to argue and simply not respond when he provokes you. You can turn away or say, I'm not going to argue and not respond.
Bless you for wanting to end the harassment.

A good thing to do is to work on something together, like build a birdhouse from a kit, a model airplane, or something he likes.
If he likes football or something you would half like, try to learn everything about it. Then ask him to do something you like, but make sure its something he might like. Make sure you understand first, what he likes. Also, you could both put a jigsaw puzzle together and just take your time.
