Your absolutely correct, yet, people will stay miserable. When their feeling depressed, don't sugar coat the problem, you work through it. Not with a wishbone but with a backbone. There isn't no "Easy Button" to life. That's what makes a person strong, then they can smile. Without regrets!!

hey!!!! you must have read my mind!!!

I was thinking about this. What is the point of getting down and depressed! Whatever you are worrying about isn't going to change, so why waste time and energy on it.

My partner used to always go away with his mates. I hated this and I would make myself ill, thinking he wouldn't go. But he still did! All that worrying for nothing! Don't do it is my advice. Being unhappy doesn't solve anything. Lets face it, the situation will soon be over and a new day will come!

DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean I'm guilty as well I have a sick sense of humor, I've put on a few different hats today on here just to read peoples reactions. I've pretended to be racists and a marriage hater what a shame I'm going to take a break from here until 2007.

I'm miserable because the Yahoo Answers Gestapo keep making me feel like a criminal for having a sense of humour! Honestly, what better way to kill your enthusiasm than be punished for trying to lighten the mood? I ask you!

Probably the greatest cause of misery is the inability to be satisfied with what you have.
IF YOU ALWAYS WANT MORE YOU CAN NEVER, BY DEFINITION, BE SATISFIED.
Therefore you would always be miserable.
Gandhi gave some wise advice when he said, "reduce your wants and you will meet all your needs"
An even wiser writer said. "I have learned in whatever state I am, with that to be content"
PS Make sure that you don't allow yourself to get miserable...and that you DO smile.

Good Post!

We Humans have a knack for looking at the dark side instead of being happy for what we are/have/

It is so easy to be spoiled and un-happy!

SMILE!

I agree with you. I look at people passing our house or in the local shops and everyone is doing their shopping with lips hanging on the ground. Like they are being forced to shop. Hellll, it is Christmas, they should be smiling and be happy but instead they look like they are being tortured.:))

because there's so much bad **** in the world. there's so many mean, horrible people who do things to hurt others for no reason. there's so many people who pretend to care about you when they really don't. there's just soo much pain everywhere. i HATE people i think they are disgusting, heartless creatures, and i used to be miserable but now i have my 'lifes too short motto' and i dont give a **** about what other people think. and when people do things to hurt me, i ignore it and i know that they cannot help it, people were just built to be MEAN. i only care about what I think about ME.
