I am 24 years old. In the past week or so, about three of my ex's have contacted me through either email or phone. Two of them are married, and one of them has been in a long term relationship. The two that are married have kids and/or kids on the way. I was just wondering what anyone thought about this situation. What provokes married men to want to get in touch with their ex's? And some of the stuff that they have said to me, such as, " I miss you," " I wish that you and I were together," "I want to meet up with you." Is disturbing to me!!!! What should I think about this...Only mature advice please, nothing stupid!

my parents have been married for 20 years. I'm 19 and I have 4 older sisters and a 3 year old brother. I just found out my mom was cheating on my dad. should i tell him or isnt it my place to do so. my sister dont know yet, should i tell them.I dont want to break them apart, i love them both but I don't want to see my dad hurt. what should i do?

and my parents are computer illiterate so they'd never read this.

The man has put his children last on his list for years and refused to put hours of pick up and drop off in our divorce decree so he could do as he pleases.
The youngest is still at home and get this: His dad wanted to pick him up at mdinite, then drive to his house another hour,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,He refused to make alternate plans for the boys sake so my son lost out on seeing his dad.
That's just the tip of the iceburg.
Visitation is every other weekend and my ex calls my son at the time he's due to arrive and tells him he's stuck in traffic. Says it could be hours.
So I suggested he leave work one hour early every other week to avoid rush hour. He refuses to do that and last night said he was in a six mile back-up that may not clear till midnite.......Naturally I had to cancel the weekend. and that makes me look real mean and my son gets hurt and angry at me.
I literally feel as tho my son deserves better from his self absorbed father. He is hurt that his dad isn't on time.

we've only been married for 3 yrs. i just recently found out that he lied to me about a business meeting that he was supposedly attending. turns out he's been at his dads that just recently got out of jail, after being locked up for 13 yrs. i don't want to get a divorce because i love him, but he's been lying to me for 2 weeks straight about where he is. i confronted him about it and he said he just didn't know how i would react knowing he was going to see his father (who was in jail for sexual assault). yes i don't like his dad at all, but that is no reason for him to lie to me, and this is the second time he's done this. i feel he has no respect for me. also his whole attitude has changed since his dad has gotten out. I really don't know what to do because we have a son and he thinks his dad is the world. please help!!

When we first started dating I didn't know they were best friends I just thought she was a friend. I was jealous and talked to him about it and he just told me I would have to deal with it. So I told him that I wanted to talk to her since she would call and never say hi to me when they were talking. We did talk and she explained some things. Now we have been engaged for a while and I find out that they are closer than I realized and he seems to want her in his life even though we are getting married soon. I am not sure I trust their friendship. I am not comfortable with them hanging out either.

i enjoy giving out. its fun. I'm not going to live forever so I plan to have fun. and no, please don't think of me as a prostitute. I only give out to guys i date. that means i have to at least find them attractive.

My husband has a younger sister who is severely developmentally disabled. My two sisters- although not developmentally disabled- are ignorant. They're often using the slang "That's so retarded" when referring to things that they don't like. My husband hasn't said anything about it, but I find it offensive that they use that slang in front of him, knowing he has a "retarded" sister. I have asked them several times to refrain from using that word, and they tell me I'm being too uptight about it. Even though my husband doesn't SAY it bothers him, I can still tell that it does- What more can I do?

I have friend very close, we dated on and off before i had my kids. Since becoming single hes been over probably two three times a week. He calls checking up on me and the kids. Here lately hes been making jokes like my daughter is breastfeeding and he said make sure and save some for me. And then i was feeding her cherry vanilla flavored pudding and he said wow it comes in flavors i got to try that. Then i asked him to come over and watch a movie and he said you remeber what happened last time we watched a movie and cuddled. I have been alone since i found out i was preg with my daughter and i have not been looking or dating since. No interest really so i am not really sure if its flirting or just me wishing it was. ive been hooking up with this guy and we decided its strictly friends with benefits... so far weve just made out, but im starting to get emotionally attached to this guy.. the thing is, i dont think he is feeling the same way (ie. he doesnt want a gf and im not sure if he really likes me as more than a friend). i NEED to find a way to stop feeling emotionally-close to him --- that will only set me up for rejection.

so how do i become less emotionally-attached?

Ok, i feel like i dont know whats going on around me. I am meaner to people now, and my grades are slipping badly. At the beginning of the year i was making a B in science and now i am making an F. And in P.E. i was making a B, now i am making an D. Thats because i dont do anything in PE. I am going to have to start. But my friend dont really help me out any. She doesnt want to dress out for pe. But i need to. I am in High School also. And i am lieing to everyone. What do ii do to change. It s probably stupid asking this, but i feel so empty right now.

Have you ever been in a relationship with someone and thought things were going great and then out of no were they end things saying they werent happy and you had never been happier untill they said that?? Couple years ago at a school field trip a group of her friends were playing cards, and I joined in. I asked a question about psychology that nobody really cares about. Her friends were saying that it was really stupid and making fun of me, she actually said that she was interested in the same topic and enjoyed questions about it. Last year in Spanish class I sat in the back of the room, and she at the front, everytime she came to class she would look back to my direction for a while for no apparent reason. I have gone to school with these guys since elementary school and I have never had a boyfriend. All my other friends seem to have boyfriend and boyfriend but I never had. My g/f was raped a few months ago(not by me) and ever since then has only worn big baggy clothes that don't show off her hot body. Is this normal?? Why does she do this??She got consuling.

My fiance to be, has just recently divorced her third husband, that part I'm happy about...The part that gets me is that she has to remain living as a roommate in the same house as him, so that their grandchildren can have a normal Christmas.
