To make a long story short, my ex boyfriend and I dated for 3 years, he went into the Navy and we both couldn't adjust to the long distance, so we broke up, well we've recently been talking and he comes home next weekend from Japan, I haven't seen him face to face in over a year, he wants to take me out to this really nice restaurant on the 19th..which would have been our anniversary, he also wants me to stay with him while he is home (like live at his house)...what does this mean? why does he want to take me out on our "would have been" anniversary?

i dont know how to take this i cheated on him a year ago and just told him, because he overheard from someone else.... he is always asking who im with what i did but we arent going out.... i want him back and i think that he wants to be with me again but i dont know how to read his signs. one minute he is mad and the next he doesnt know what to do. and he wants us to be better, but doesnt know if we can... we talk or see each other everyday and he knows that im sorry and i made a huge mistake. he also knows that i love him and want to be with him what do i do?

I have a dilema like most of you...here's my story. There's this guy who likes me alot and I think he's okay too. The problem is: He's the brother of my cousins husband. My cousin married this guy and this guy has a younger brother. He's 26 and I'm 28. He knows I've never dated before nor have I ever been in a relationship with anyone. I recently told him my age yet he continues to like me. The other problem is: is he in a way my cousin? I never thought about it until my friend brought it up and told me that he's my cousin indireclty since his brother married my cousin. Is that true? I need advice as to what am I suppose to do. He likes me alot and he shows it by texting me everyday and calling me to see how I'm doing. He also stated that he really likes me and won't do anything to hurt me in any way. He knows I have insecurities when it comes to dating. I told him I don't trust guys as far as dating goes. He says he'll be patient until I'm ready to date. What should I do? Thank you.

I asked my close female friend if she FELT anything towards me at all, ever. More than just a friend. (She knows how I feel about her) She replied:

Anybody out there feel they have unresolved business/feelings with their ex? Things just spiralled out of control and you both made decisions that were wrong and ultimately ended up divorced. Is this a normal feeling associated with divorce? Is it possible to love someone but not be happy with them? I met a guy at an online master’s program. He came to my brother's wedding and stayed for 5 days. Everything was just fabulous between us. Then he returned to his hometown and didn't hear form him until two weeks after the wedding. Recently I text messaged him and it took him a week to send a text message back and to call me home. Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately?) I wasn't home when he called and since it was too late when I saw the text message I didn't write back. Should I wait until he calls again or should I text message him/call back? Is he interested in me or was he just being “polite”?

My husband is tripping. I asked him a simple question when I called him today and he hung up the phone on me. He is upset because I am not over losing our baby just 2 months ago. All I asked was at the Christmas dinner I am preparing a few dishes for at his Unit, would there be a lot of pregnant women there. That is all I asked. he hung up the phone on me and turned off his cell.

Then, I finally got him on his office phone (after he told one of his soldiers not to answer our number on caller ID, I know) he told me not to call him back and hung up again.

Now, I am thoroughly pissed. I want to get even. I am thinking about just packing some things and my kids and going to a motel for the weekend. Is this a good idea? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Okay here is the scenario....me and my girl were at McDonalds. She asked me what I was getting and I told her I was going to get a quarter pounder with cheese and some fries. She said "ooh that sounds good, i want to get that too." Then I told her no because it was too fattening for her and she needed to keep her trim figure. Then she was like "but you are getting it, why can't I?". Then I said because I am a guy and it is okay if we gain weight but if a girl gains weight it isn't attractive. Plus guys have higher metabolisms than girls do. I told her she was my little barbie girl and I wanted her to stay that way. Most of the time she understands my logic but she was on PMS and started pouting about it. Kudos to me for still paying for lunch. I ordered her a salad. Then while we were eating I told her that she could have a burger and fries for her birthday but she said she wanted Olive Garden! Women!! Anyways her friend found out and said I was a jerk. Am I wrong here?

my 10 year old son's father recently died this year. he was a real peice of work. only saw him maybe twice a year. he never paid child support and i didn't have $ to get a lawyer and the state wouldn't do anything because they never had his new address or place of work. though he always had money to buy a motorcycle. we broke up when i was 7 mos pregnant and 16, he was like this from the begining, stupid me!. at his funeral his friends and sister all talked about how good of a friend he was who would do anything for them. even his 10 year old nephew got up and talked about how good of an uncle he was. i wanted to spit i was so disgusted! but i didn't say anything becasue me and my son have a good relationship with his grandparents and they were devestated enough. how do i tell my son how his father realy was? he doesn't act too broken up about him dying but someday he will ask why didn't he come see me or why was everyody else more important to him? i don't want him thinking it was him

i like this girl in one of my classes and i speak to her every day at school,we are both seniors in high school...the class is a 95%lecturing class where the teacher talks for a mass majority of the time and its a small room,so you cant get away with talkin during the class........iv never really givin her any signs that i like her other than im always nice to her,ill get her a book so that she dont have to get up,im always very nice to her,ect.
we usually have small talk for about 2-3 minutes before the class starts...
but thats it....
i recently got a suggestion that i should try a letter telling her how i feel...any suggestions?
