Anybody out there feel they have unresolved business/feelings with their ex? Things just spiralled out of control and you both made decisions that were wrong and ultimately ended up divorced. Is this a normal feeling associated with divorce? Is it possible to love someone but not be happy with them? Is it possible to be with someone else while deep down inside you want to be with the person you just let go?

OH GOD YES!! Well atleast I used to feel this way. And you your feelings are perfectly normal. Right now your heart is leading your mind. Try and turn it around and let the mind move you! You will see things clearly and relize breaking up with your ex was probably a good thing!

That is a normal reaction to a divorce that's unresolved. You know that deep inside, the divorce happened for a reason...you just need to find your closure. It is definitely possible to love someone and not be happy with them...but if you stay...can you deal with your unhappiness? Find your peace and move on.

It is very possible to love someone very much yet the pair may be incompatible on very fundamental levels. I'm not suggesting that anything is wrong, but you might try seeing a trusted couselor about your unresolved feelings. It really does help.

yes
sounds like you didn't resolve everything before you both decided to get a divorce, you have to make sure you've done evetything
humanly and reasonably possible to save the marriage.

I was so sick of my husband because he cheated on me,not once but many times,he messed up the finances, even today
he's the same way,but I didn't leave him until I was sure I
had done everything possible to save our marriage,it almost
killed me to leave him, because I really loved him,but I knew
I had done everything I could do to try to keep our marriage
together,so I didn't have any regrets.remember if the two of
you are divorced, you have to think about why you got divorced
before you think about getting back together
good luck

Divorce takes a while so there should have been plenty of time to resolve any feelings or make-up if possible. If it was meant to be it would have worked out. Don't beat yourself up and take your time when jumping into a new relationship.

It is definately possible to love someone but not be happy with them. That's where I am. I love my man. He and I were happy once before, and we have two perfect kids. But we do nothing but argue anymore. We are both depressed all the time, and never want to be around eachother. I miss him, but he's right here... It's weird... It's complicated...

yes it takes time to get over someone, some people compare to getting over the death of a loved one.
