why do guys jump into another realtionship when the girl breaks up with them?

i was going out with this guy i had strong feelins for him and still do but 4 days later he started going out with his friend that is a girl why is it cause i broke up with him tat he got hurt so bad and he needed sum one right there for hima nd she was there and now i want him back how do i do it

u shouldn't of left him. and we do it to try and get over being broken up with. i made that mistake before , and now i'm gonna just enoy being single. i'm not rushing back into anything. u shouldn't have payed games with him though. if everyone here was honost with their parteners most of these questions and heartbrekas wouldn't be here

Ive been in this same situation before and I think that the reason why my ex was with a new girll within days was because he didnt want his rep. ruined. i dont wanna seem too vain but we are both pretty popular and if the rest of the football knew that he was dumped and crying and sad, they would have been all over him and stuff. so i think guys do that just because they have to seem macho and cant get emotional over a girl no matter how much he cared for her. and i was just like, jealous and wanted him back but it was jsut instincts because we had been together for so long and seeing him with another girl and that girl being there already just made wanna back even though it was for the wrong reasons. so just keep your head up high and youll hopefully get over him and move onto something better because if u broke up him to begin with, then the relationship just wasnt meant to be i guess. Just be strong.
