I was married for 10 years before i got a divorce, at the time i was told i would receive some of my xhusbands retirement. He will be retireing this year what can I do or was that a untrue statement at the time of the divoce.

They are not really hurting "MOM", but the CHILD.
I have seen men date and live with women that have kids by someother man. Taking care of the kids that are not his. Running down the kids deadbeat dads. But He is doing the exact same thing. Refusing to be in "THEIR OWN" kids lifes.

we have been together for only two weeks but things were going great, we spent alote of time together and it seemed like he loved having me around even told me he couldnt wait to see me agian, but i asked him to come to my house couse i had some things to do at home and for some odd reason it was well i think we should slow down. so iam very confused now, couse i thought things were going good and he says i might have mis interprited it, if i did then then how can i trust how it seems he feels? i am serously thinking about ending it all together i dont want to be on an emotional roller coaster..

I have a little brother a year younger than me. He doesn't talk and it is very hard to open him up. He utters a few words and just this Thanksgiving he actually had dinner with us. Last year he didn't. I am starting to see a little difference and I am wondering if I can say or do something to make him feel more comfortable around the family? He is 22. He doesn't work and he stopped going to school. I think something may have happened to him at school (ie:teasing?) I wish I couold help him get a job or SOMETHING? I live in Vegas and he lives with my mom in California.

When people know I haven't spoken to my sister for years (we're polite but by no means friends) and I stopped speaking to my uncle, that they think I must be a very argumentative person. My father passed away just over two years ago, I was very close to him. Within weeks my mum struck up a relationship with a man she courted before meeting my dad. I didn't want my mum to be lonely, I found her moving on without appearing to grieve for my dad very difficult. Anyway she married him six months ago. In the speech, my mums brother announced how pleased he was that his sister had FINALLY FOUND A GOOD MAN........... I was horrified. It sounded like the fifty years my mother had suffered years of abuse. (My father was one of the nicest, kindest hard working men I've ever known) My uncle knows how upset I was (still am) and I left the reception. He shows no remorse and hasn't apologised. Am I wrong to think that he should?

I am an older woman in her forty's. Unfortunately hook'd on my best friend a guy for five years. Sounds crazy I know. We lived together twice once for nine months and once for a year. He means everything to me. We had been intimate but he decided we should only be friends. We have a very sincere friendship he would never iontentionaly hurt me. I never have more fun than when I am with him. He has never kiss'd me he says he can't because it would mean he was serious but yet I have seen him with other women which he is all over. And beleive me they are far from attractive. Not to be conceited I know I am an attractive woman and have a great sense of humor. There is never a dull moment between us. I've been dating this guy for 6 months now, and he told me that we were in a relationship. So when I became curious about him sleeping with other women I started snooping around and when I confronted him with it he told me that I was delusional. He said that we were just friends. That he never agreed to be in a relationship with me or to pursue anything serious with me. He wanted me to apologize to him for being a lying b**** and that I was the reason he didn't trust women.

Now was I being delusional because of how I perceived the word relationship when it was presented to me or was he delusional by saying we weren't in a relationship when he clearly stated that we were. Who's at fault here and what should I do??

My dad was never there for me for most of my life. Now he is there for me now and I live with him. I have my mom's last name but I want to change it to my dad's last name. Some people think it is a stupid idea. Some people say that I should not change it because I am a female and I will just get married and it will change again anyways. I don't even know if my dad will want to share his last name with me. Then there is my half brother and half sister. (we share the same father but have different mothers) They have our dad's last name too and I don't know if they would want me to have their last name. They don't live in the same state as we do. Their mom and our dad got a divorce and now they don't even get to see my dad or talk to him because their mom wont let them. So anyways.....I don't know if I should change my last name because my mom will be upset. I don't know what to do. Please help. Thank you.

I ran into this guy 9 months ago and we hit it off,we were like magnets that night,I was still bitter about catching my ex of a few years cheating(they r mutual friends)he listened and understood,he drove me home that night and i invited him to stay,i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,he was such a gentlman,things were awkward when he left the next morning,a mutual freind told me he liked me but was freaked about my ex(who was trying to get me back)I ran into him again 2months later and he came to me and said"your killing me",my ex was also there and upset that we liked eachother.I thought of him since,I sent him a text a couple weeks after and he never replied.I saw him again 6 months later at a party,he walked in with another girl(although it did not appear that thye were together)he saw me and looked away quick.I still think about him.He is also freinds with my brother,who says he likes me but is scared
