i"m 34 + have always been told i would make a great dad. How can you tell?

how do you look at someone else and know they will be a good dad? how can you tell if you will be a good dad?

Oh, I suppose if you have an even temperment, or maybe if you're good at taking care of pets and plants then perhaps you have what it takes to nurture a child, but there are way too many variables in parenting that do not necessarily translate well to pet ownership. Really it's one of those things that you won't know until you try.

So you can't really tell. Maybe those people were being nice. Or, they could be dropping hints. Is you girlfriend/fiance/wife one of the poeple who tells you you would make a good dad? If so, maybe she wants a child.
