I remember I used to be social but then I had a hair trauma that caused me to be anti-social. Do I need self-esteem to be social? How do I get rid of being painfully shy? People mistake me for being rude and proud when really all I want is to make friends and conversations.

Because I like this guy..and he isn't shy. Sometimes he'll talk to me when he sees me..but not awhole lot.

Well it's really special. Because things happened in her past that prevented her from doing this when she was younger. It's my mother and she is 50 years old. And she is walking in December, and me and my husband are driving out of state to watch her walk. But what about the gift, no flowers, she's actaully flying in to the state herself to walk.. any ideas anyone!!!! I leave in about 1 week :)

the guy i like in my school found out i like him. he apparently likes me a little and people are trying to get him to ask me out, even though i told them. although this sounds weird i have never even really talked to him much, so i dont know how i would confront him. i definately dont have the courage let alone the confidence to ask him out myself. he is fairly shy. any sugggestions? anything will help. and no im not giving up on him. i really like him and if i have a chance i would like to take it. help?

ok. im going out with this kid ((today is 6 weeks)) i like him but... for one thing, the whole time, hes only given me hugs. not like a boyfriend hug. just a weird awkward hug. once a day at school. and another thing is that he is just so much like a puppy! he...

Ok here's my story.
So I have this best friend (well, my best male friend at least.) At the beginning of the school year, he totally liked me-he even told me. I never liked him as more than a best until a couple weeks ago, when I realized that I'm kinda "head over heels" for him. Around the time when I figured that out, he got a girlfriend. She gets bored very easily though and they just broke up. THinking this was my chance, I left him an instant message telling him how I felt. When I was away, he left one back saying he kinda liked me but he liked someone else too. He said that if we weren't so close, he would like me more but he doesn't want to ruin our best friend relationship. I really care about keeping him as a friend, but i really want to be more then friends because i really like him, and we're 100% PERFECT for eachother. WHat should I do/ say to him?
