Should I consider being friends with someone who lied to me but apologized? I dont want to get into it, but I had feelings for him but dont anymore, he knows that and still wants to be friends. Is it a good idea?

I was never with him. I told him I liked him and I didnt know he had a g/f...said it was a bad relationship, but didnt break up with her...she cheated, he came to me and I was annoyed bc he went months without talking to me so he goes back to her.
