Ok here's my story.
So I have this best friend (well, my best male friend at least.) At the beginning of the school year, he totally liked me-he even told me. I never liked him as more than a best until a couple weeks ago, when I realized that I'm kinda "head over heels" for him. Around the time when I figured that out, he got a girlfriend. She gets bored very easily though and they just broke up. THinking this was my chance, I left him an instant message telling him how I felt. When I was away, he left one back saying he kinda liked me but he liked someone else too. He said that if we weren't so close, he would like me more but he doesn't want to ruin our best friend relationship. I really care about keeping him as a friend, but i really want to be more then friends because i really like him, and we're 100% PERFECT for eachother. WHat should I do/ say to him? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I don't think you have much say in this.
If you have told him, and he now knows your feelings, and doesn't want to give it a shot because he likes someone else.
But if he is afraid that it will ruin your friendship, which it might in case you ever breakup, you can try to convince him that you'll always be friends. Because you go way back, and it is something that cannot be broken.
Look at it this way, he might be the perfect person. Who knows, this might turn into a life changing event that could result in something best for the both of you. Tell him to take a shot at it. =)

the same thing kinda happened to me but the only reason we didnt go out was because he had gone out with most of my friends and me and the guy had a close relationshipbut somehow it got ruined anyway so maybe you guys should try it cause i really missed my chance with a good guy

Just say if you want to go out with me the window is closing. Choose quick. If he doesn't ask you out you need to move on. At your age pride and dignity are very important things.
