You'd have to know the guy personally, but you can never go wrong with Playstation 3, XBox 360 or Nintendo Wii. Every guy likes video games to some extent. Even if he doesn't they're also good to play CD's and watch DVD's (except Nintendo Wii, which is good for getting some excercise).
