Or is what you feel at the start, what it will always be? Also if the passionate part of the relationship (honeymoon phase) is going to fade eventually anyway would it be better to be with someone you really like but are not totally crazy for physically?

I don't know if she even knows what she is doing...she always makes excuses as to who gets what..and it is her daughter and all her family that are the recipients...my husband, our daughter, son-in-law, grandson and I do receive things but it is not nearly equal...we are good and kind to her and I know she loves us as well....we feel hurt, but try not to let it bother us, but it is underlying and won't go away

married for 10 yrs under hindu act, my husband wants a divorce and marry a muslim woman from pakistan. 7 months ago he moved to another country and lives alone there. i still live with my inlaws in india. i am not agreeing for divorce and have asked him to file for divorce if he wishes. if he does i intend to contest the custody rights of our kid and on basis of having a flawed character, dont want him to have even visitation rights. can i do that? he pays for our expenses. his parents dont approve of what he is doing and support me. i also want to stall the divorce if he files which i am told can be done for years. i feel betrayed. ( though we never had a good marriage, divorce is something unthinkable for me. help.

we see on tv all the time how kids get devestated when they find out, and run away from home end never talk to their parents again.
whether this is just dramatic because of the sitcoms i don't know.
but say if you were a teenager, would you be raving mad?

One month ago I lent £500 to a (so I believed) friend in financial distress.He said I'd have it back in one week.I owed him a big favour and I would never imagine he'd ever cheat me, so I accepted.
One month has passed and he's been making up all sorts of excuses, including 'My housemate didn't get paid yet', 'I wasn't able to work for three days', 'I lost my bank card', 'My dad was supposed to come and give me money but he didn't because of the weather' and lies of the same sort.
Every time we had arranged to meet for him to pay back at least part of the debt, he never showed up and didn't pick up my calls.
Last night I've been knocking on his door and although he was obviously in he didn't come to open.
Now,I don't think he's a cheat.He is just a ******* idiot with his money that bloody deserves to be broke.
As soon as this thing is settled I will severe all connections with him.
But first I need my cash back.
Before I threaten him with a solicitor, is there any advice you can give?
